Hi all,
just a quick question if i may.
does any one know if there is a place where you can stay in a bdsm style prison cell for a contracted amount of time?
Its a big fantasy of mine and would love to sign myself over for a year.

Not that I know of, but I was taken on a tour of an abandoned fort on Long Island by some kinky friends and they have many "cells" which we ogled over.

I know of some people who have fabulous perosnal dungeons which include cages inset into their house, but not one with a full cell.  I'm sure it's out there though.

well, if you are absolutely determined, here's what you do :

1. either review the USC or whatever body of laws governs the place you live or talk to a lawyer.
2. find something that would yeld one year in prison.
3. plan it to the detail, preferably with the lawyer's help to make sure you don't over do it
4. do it
5. turn yourself in.

it's free, courtesy of the taxpayers.

Alternatively you could visit the subcaverns of any major city subway system, go down as deep as you possibly can...

If you get low enough, past the homeless people... then you can decorate to your liking and stay as long as you want!

I remeber reading online somewhere about a place where men can go do this, but I can't remember where. I'll try to come up with the link, but it certainly wasn't my thing- and I'm of the girly persuasion.

I'm certain you wouldn't have any problem contracting a space and gathering a group of other devoted types that share the same fantasy as you. In fact, you could even fashion after your favorite fictional tale and create a series of experiences that would be unforgettable to say the least. You may wish to look into reenactment societies like SCA. Kinky people abound. There may be something out there that most know nothing about. Good luck.

Now that all the jokes are in, here's a serious answer to your question.

I believe several such places do exist, but they're not easy to find and they are expensive.  I'm pretty sure there's at least one in the UK and one in the US.  Both of the ones I've seen reference to are gay oriented.  If that meets your desire, I'd recommend that you join www.slave4master.com

As far as BDSM prisons, your best best would be to pursue seeking out kenneling services. I've always heard there were numerous large ranches in the western US with various sorts of kenneling services, some may have prison cells in addition to stalls for nearby city dweller's lifestyle pets?

I like zenofeller's approach, but I think that doing this in the USA just invites a lot of timewasting in terms of those pesky Amendments and civil rights we have that "burden" our criminal justice system. 

If the OP really wants to get locked up for a time and get off on his prison kink, I think the OP needs to identify the "right" country.  Syria, Turkey, Surinam and Singapore all come to mind.  Indeed, if proximity is an issue, I think Mexico might work.  (Canada is a washout, tho.  They are even softer on criminals that the old USA!  Don't head north.)   I'm sure there are MANY countries that would work, OP.  Go there, and commit a crime.  I think you will get EXACTLY what you desire.

Note:  Be careful.  North Korea, Albania, the UAR...all might be a bit TOO extreme, and they won't understand the need for lengthy incarceration, depending on your crime.  These countries will just kill you.  And wouldn't that be a drag when all you are seeking is your kink?

FWIW, the Playhouse in Baltimore, one of the best D/s venues I'd ever seen, had an entire prison cell on one of its several levels.  It is long gone, now, however.

No, OWK does have actual prison stays that last about a week, but currently they all appear to be scheduled per a particular dominant's schedule. In other words, an OWK dominant decides to hold a prison sentence during a particular period of time, and then you pay to experience it during that time. My understanding is that you won't be able to do a year or anything like that, but would be lucky to be able to do it for a week.

In the past, they used to do session-like prison stays, but they've moved away from that and now do more event-related submission experiences. But it's not all just for photo shoots and movies.

I wasn't talking about a prison cell provided by the courtesy of the State.  I was talking about what the OP seems to be looking for, a place that will do BDSM imprisonment scenes for a fee.  Of the three such places I recall seeing sites for that seemed to mention this possibility, two of them were gay oriented, the other was the OWK.
