A local sports radio station replayed greatest momements while DJ's were off. In this area that means Red Sox and Patriots. After the Red Sox won you could hear grown men breaking down into tears of joy. We are talking about 40 year old 250 pound long shoremen-cried-once w2hen-I-hit-my-thumb-with-a hammer types, not hairdressering-metrosexual-in-touch-with-their-feelings types. 84 years!

I bet the people who thought of enforced chastity were few and far between.

That would be 86 years, not 84 years.

I didn't exactly follow what the Red Sox have to do with enforced chastity, but I think a suitable punishment for a Red Sox fan would be to remain celibate until they win another World Series. Yeah, just for being a Red Sox fan.

I gave up on the Red sox back in the late 80's as a young boy.

Come to think of it.... I gave up watching ALL sports with anysort of religion or regularity to it.

I guess I just don't need to watch foot ball to know it is a GAY sport... all that hiking and grabassing and "pile ons"....

but wait..... Redsox are baseball..... Pinch hiters, Switch hitters, "in the box"... "on the mound"..... Balls and Strikes....
kinda sounds erotic........

I think I need to go polish my bat now

And here I thought my Dom was the only one to link the Red Sox and chastity. He decided to make me a fan, so last fall he linked them losing a game to my masturbation privileges. I was a lot more enthusiastic about them winning after that.
