Mike Wallace interviewed Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on 60 Minutes tonight. Below is a link to the story.

I hadn't realized that was tonight.  Thanks for posting Level.  I hope Wallace just lets him run at the mouth...  Or did they edit it so he's pretty and the fools can keep believing that President Bush is the most evil thing going?

You're welcome, Rich. No, there wasn't any attempt to make Ahmadinejad look good lol, he came across as someone who could fit in with the Rogue's Gallery of despots of the last century. Wallace stayed on his ass trying to make him drop the propaganda and give some straight answers. You might check out their website, CBS may make the video available.

Wallace did a nice job (did I hear somewhere he is 88 years old???).  Much better than the near d***sucking Dan Rather gave Saddam a few years ago.

Ahmadinejad is sharp.  He was playing to the political divisions in the U.S. and ducking and weaving when it came to his Holocaust denials and intent to wipe Israel off the map.  I saw somebody playing for time and I think he'll probably get it.  I had to glance up at the subject box to get his name right but I'm afraid the next generation will be all too familiar with it and that won't be a good thing.

Had to laugh when he said they wanted nuclear capabilities only for power production.  Don't they have plenty of oil?

Wouldn't it be great to be the translator of the questions in that interview?  When Ahmadinejad is asked "What do you think of George Bush?" you could deliberately mis-translate it as "What are you doing after the interview, big boy?"

It is seen as power.  people with oil generally don't need the shit.  They ain't got alotta water so the fossil fuel steam generation is kinda not understood.

Shit is in the wrong place.  Kinda like you collecting all the magazines in the neighborhood, so you can burn them in the fireplace all winter to keep warm..........
