So....here's my question:

Were you ever (REALLY) wrong? (Like...huuuuge)?

Did you ever just fuck up BIG TIME??????

Didja?

Oh yeah.  I've fucked up majorly.  Hopefully I got that all out of my system in the 18 to 21 era... at least he really major stuff.

Been wrong and fucked up.
Being wrong isn't so bad, it doesn't bother me to be wrong.
Now fucking up.. I don't like that much, but I try to take the lesson and turn it into a positive.

I'm with arpig check the top of your head that is the usual place to find them.

Fuck up big time, hmmm..... well once i got lost for 2 1/2 hours on trail i helped cut, realized i was following the A riders lines when i barely missed stopping at a huge jump and finally had to use my cell to have my club come find me in the woods i'd been riding in for only 22 years!

Do not feel bad about losing stuff, Scooter and Jewel lose stuff CONSTANTLY but i can always find it. But let me lose something and it could be days before i find it. Last week my purse was missing for 3 days, i finally asked my pair if they had seen it. Scooter pointed at the back of my desk (where i sit for 3 or 4 hours a day) and said" that purse".

IB don't you dare! Lol, that would take a lot of hiding, we buy it by the case at Sam's club.

I agree with mbmbn. Well said. I have fucked up hugely, but mostly in my youth, and I learned from it.

As for my glasses, I had them surgically implanted on my head, so unless I run into a guillotine, I'm good to go.

4)  I used to be a Republican (fine...I'll just stop right now so you can beat me...I'll just stand right here....go ahead...I bleed slowly)...but...I learned a few things over the years (and a few people along the way showed me their perspective....and I admitted I was...wr...wr....wr....

Misinformed.

Hell yeah, I have!   More than once as a matter of fact...  But no confessions today from moi.  [&:]

Regarding your glasses, I don't wear glasses, but have looked around for car keys while they were in my left hand once.   M

Littlepita -> RE: I would like to know the following things: (8/9/2006 7:00:09 AM)

You don't get to be 40 and say you haven't fucked up big time. I have many times. I'm sure I probably will again at some point.

I also never can find my glasses. Where do they hide? [&:]

MdmSarah -> RE: I would like to know the following things: (8/9/2006 5:44:13 PM)

I think my glasses are having an illicit affair with my missing socks, so they have to keep hiding.

Rayne58 -> RE: I would like to know the following things: (8/9/2006 6:00:00 PM)

Why can I never find a pen.....I know we have several, they keep wandering off [8|]

My keys are always in my bag (after locking myself out of my flat a couple of times, I learned to put them where I'd always remember them!), and Master's are always on the little table by the door.

Glasses....I have 2 pairs and haven't lost them yet (but I've only had them for a couple of months so there's still time [8|])

Fuckups....I did what someone else said and married the wrong person, but I stayed married to them for 23 years [&o] I also believed the married man who said he was going to leave his wife....that was 4 years ago and as far as I know he's still with her (silly me I was so gullible[>:])

maybemaybenot -> RE: I would like to know the following things: (8/9/2006 6:19:35 PM)

Forgot to say.. If my glasses aren't on my face, one "arm" of them is tucked into my cleavage and the rest hanging over my blouse, shirt, etc. I like that much better than those pearl necklace thingies you can string around your neck.

PS: Level: I think that is part of  what youth is for... fucking up now and then.  Get it out of your system and bring the knowledge with you into your 30's and beyond. I hate to see a younger person so afraid to mess up that they close themselves off to experiences and risks. I'm always afraid they will not have the tools to use when they eventually do mess up.

Ya know, I never trusted those bastards...their eyes were too close together...sure sign of criminal intent if you ask me.
