So let me get this straight.
They pull electric cars out of california
and crush them.
Tell the owners they didnt have a
choice in keeping them.

Ok well what are our options.
A corn based fule no every one says is beeing used.
But is it really, other then beeing an aditive?

Sure for deisel but what about poor us?

And sure solar power use to be a stupid idea.
Since theirs more clouds in the sky
for most ofus then sunshine.

However with this global warming I wounder...

They should make a sex powered car.
two in the back and one in the front.

Every 90 miles you just switch places.
How lovely it would be to car pool.

When you consider how much smog/smoke that volcanos put into the air, automobils aren't even the tip of the ice berg.

What a volcano releases into the air is not the samething as what comes out of your car. If that were true, LA would've been buried long ago by that smog cloud that hangs over it.

That's what I'm saying. All the cars in LA are not able to even cough up a forth of CO2 in over a hundred years to what one volcano can do in only a few hours.

~ chuckle ~

And you'd become better friends with your coworkers, I daresay.

I am not sure where you guys are getting your scientific information.  Here are two relevant sources.

NASA Overview On Global Warming:http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Library/GlobalWarming/

UC-San Diego Volcanologist's Page On Effects Of Volcanoes On Greenhouse Gases:http://www.geology.sdsu.edu/how_volcanoes_work/climate_effects.html

Note the passage that states "Volcanic eruptions can enhance global warming by adding CO2 to the atmosphere. However, a far greater amount of CO2 is contributed to the atmosphere by human activities each year than by volcanic eruptions. Volcanoes contribute about 110 million tons/year, whereas other sources contribute about 10 billion tons/year."

That's roughly 100:1 importance - meaning, volcanoes are insignificant.  And yes, I *am* a physical scientist.
