60 miles wind speed would make sense in blowing any decent beer foam away, a true natural hazard I d'say. Just imagine the imperial smack on Mars with x miles per second. And yes we have pubs (thanks to all the Irish and Brit expats, usually a faint simulation, agreed) and beer halls (if ever in Munich visit the Mathäser or the Hofbräu), and not to forget beer tents- the real big ones for hundreds of thirsty throats, maybe another storm hazard although in my experience in Munich never one was blown away. You can, if lucky somewhere one can get an UK pint of o.5+xx litres instead an EU conformity half litre. I always considered a pint more adequate to the average human thirst I confess. By the way the Masskrug carrying challenge was 18 recently: 7 in every hand plus 2 each placed on top- not such a big deal, except for the weight, the true challenge is the balance. A dirndl is not standard but highly recommended, it helps balancing the 18 Mass as well as the tips at the end of the day. - I 'd say a visit is highly recommended- but take care to visit Bavaria not these uncultivated Prussian wastelands, or Saxony - which can be nice in parts but the Saxons emigrating rowing over the sea to bother the not yet Anglo-Saxons had a good reason. Anglia is to be avoided - muddy northern bogs near Denmark. Don't remind me of the Brexit mad times, and yes Maggie wanted her Sterling back of course. I guess if anyone offered Euros instead the Rhine army would have marched to Brussels again with Boorish waving the flag as welcome. Dont' wait too long for someone might get the Mad US idea of reciprocal entrance fees. I have to pay 20 € to abandon the boat at Dover or the plane at Heathrow nowadays, equals roughly 10 packets of Cadbury fingers if I remember right. Just to enter a decent Tesco's again. How much Marmite to supply starving expats could I get for that.
