I trust Vladamir Putin way more than Pelosi or Schumer, or any Democrat party operative. They are hideous people

Four posts, and not a single defense of Trump.

Just a lot of illiterate insults.

Stop. It's boring.

The president doesn't need any defense

There is no evidence backing your hysterical claims that the Russians (Obama and Hillary's friends, established here many times over) fixed the elections

None.

Then there's no need for the lies.

So what's up with this guy?

bounty44 -> RE: Atlantic: Trump's Russia "untruths" piling up -- Why the run-around? (3/3/2017 5:41:18 PM)

id use the word "despicable"

Musicmystery -> RE: Atlantic: Trump's Russia "untruths" piling up -- Why the run-around? (3/3/2017 5:43:21 PM)

I'd use the words "liar" and "cover up" instead of "untruths."

But then I'm not a journalist.

Pelosi lied, jail her

Musicmystery -> RE: Atlantic: Trump's Russia "untruths" piling up -- Why the run-around? (3/3/2017 5:50:08 PM)

I didn't vote for her either.

Again, you just change the subject instead of trying to defend Trump.

The guy is indefensible.

MrRodgers -> RE: Atlantic: Trump's Russia "untruths" piling up -- Why the run-around? (3/3/2017 5:53:50 PM)

The real problem is that Trump and Co. have big mouths and couldn't just say to each other, let's play this as if we knew and there is nothing to get in front of.

But no, they had to either lie or deflect or obfuscate and their stupid mouths get them in trouble because they just didn't understand that so much becomes a matter of public record. Just like Hillary and Powell who escapes unscathed or anybody that should have just kept their fucking mouths shut.

I am sure glad that the CIA the FBI and the NSA still have career pros running the show as these big mouths at the top...wouldn't last 5 mins.

American exceptionalism is the whole concept that due to her power and breadth both militarily and yes, still diplomatically anyway, for a while, can still be looked upon as the stabilizing force that she is and despite the last 17 years of unmitigated disaster and on just about all fronts.

This reflects to the world now as shirking that force of stability and if anything is truly devastating, risks not being able to borrow the trillion$ more she wants because of her obsession with rent-seeking tax cuts, while throwing money at every constituency and feel-good desire under the sun and under the management of a bunch of thin-skinned, nincompoops and ideologues who will as likely shred what goodwill she has left.

And all they had to do was admit to each other what the fuck was up and shut the fuck up. You see, that's the problem. Their egos get in the way and the biggest is Trump's.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Atlantic: Trump's Russia "untruths" piling up -- Why the run-around? (3/4/2017 3:55:06 AM)

They have a small army of computer activists; manipulating facts, spreading fake news, alternative facts (lying fukery), propaganda, that which suits their own agendas, etc Filtering it and channelling it so i finds it way to specific conservative news sources, via social medial usually... where half of America seem to get their facts from. The Russians are particularly good at this. They have refined that skill set over the last century to an art form....I think they directly pipe their effluent into boscox empty cranial cavity.

They did sit out the UK Independence referendum – so that one surprised me a little. But by fuk they got waded into the Americashire Jackal Land one, and then some.

Perhaps America is in denial – perhaps they will never waken from that slumber. But when the tide turns, and it will - things are not going to end well.

cloudboy -> RE: Atlantic: Trump's Russia "untruths" piling up -- Why the run-around? (3/4/2017 6:00:33 PM)

One theory is that the Russians gave Trump a stake or financial interest in one of its oil and gas companies in exchange for lifting sanctions if he got elected. This offers motive for the Russians trying to elect and for Trump refusing to release his tax returns and lying about his campaign connections to Russia.

BoscoSanity's sig line reads: "After my election I have more flexibility." - Barack Obama, caught whispering to America's most dangerous enemy on a hot mic"

Obama said that to Putin. So, according to BoscoSanity, Putin is both "America's most dangerous enemy" and more trustworthy and less "hideous" than "any Democrat party operative".

It would be interesting to discover precisely how many sane Americans agreed with BoscoSanity's assessment, though I doubt BoscoSanity would need more than the fingers of a single one of his hands to count them.

This is my guess as well.
Trump is definitely behaving like someone who has a lot to hide.

And I can't imagine that the world's most powerful mafia state would get into business with someone without compiling a lot of 'assurances' to prevent him from backing out.

The RWNJs keep making a huge deal of this, as if it excuses Trump... but when it comes down to it, it sounds like Obama is just blowing him off. He didn't say it to Putin, he said it to some nagging Russian diplomat who wanted an answer... he also said it while he was president. Not that the RWNJs care, but even during an election, the president is still the president as well as a candidate, so they are involved with more of the drama and things like being approached by Russian diplomats is common.

Obama was always a little cocky and probably didn't doubt he was going to be re-elected, but he also didn't hesitate to stand up to Russia after they invaded Crimea. Trump is pandering to Russia at every turn, ignoring provocations, refusing to insult or denigrate Putin in any way despite the fact that practically everyone else is a target of his ire.

It's one thing to give vague assurances to foreign powers, it's quite another to be openly, undeniably afraid of doing anything to upset them.

Oh that.

Just like his insistent 'Hillary Goldman Sachs Clinton,' which has somehow disappeared after just the first two-three of Trump's Goldman Sachs appointees. Six and counting, last I checked. To your point, more than can be counted on one hand

Oh that.

Even if it was true, what means do Trump and the Russians use to fix the election ????? How the Fuck would they have done it ?????

From what I have heard, there are a lot of folks who think the only reason Shrillary lost was down to the Russians. They just can't wrap their heads around the fact that some people hate her because of the shit she said and did and wouldn't have voted for her no matter who she ran against. So they have come up with this bullshit to explain it. And I have to say they might end up being more entertaining than the birthers were. Plus we get the added laugh when the term alt-left pops up and they lose their shit over that. Gotta love politics.

Wow I didn't know Russia was the world's most powerful mafia state. Do you have any links so we can read about it?

There's a good book by Luke Harding on the subject. You should maybe have a look at that?
