There has been instances where i have played outside our D/s relationship. She is indeed aware of that and is cool with the idea.

Well, that puts a slightly different slant on things, it might be you should get a peek at the poly forum, and invite your currect sub to look there as well?

While You may not be even considering an additional polyAMORY (love) partner, there are many that practice "varied levels of open and fluid relationship forms."    another way of saying, whatever works for all involved.

Maybe opening the door to "varied interests" is a bad thing in your case, but then, maybe not.  But that is a decision you should make with your partner, in my opinion. your milage may vary.

I, for one, would kill to be able to stop thinking about a particular person. How do you stop thinking about a person who is bad for you?

Nature abhors a vacuum, and that applies to people too.  What I mean is, you can't simply remove something from your life or thoughts leaving an empty place there, you need to replace them.  If you want to forget someone, find someone or something else to occupy your thoughts with... replace one thing with another.  When you find someone or something that so fills your thoughts, the thoughts of that other will quitely fade away.

Or you can overlay it with ideas that no longer make that thought attractive. As in, negative consequences for pursuing it.

To the OP:

Im thinking if you've gotta make an effort to not think about another female, maybe things are not what you say they are with the other girl.  Just a thought.
