It's hilarious that suddenly, patriotism and the constitution mean something to these turds. Didn't Obama call Bush's deficit "unpatriotic"? What does that make his? Immoral? The constitution? Obama governed with "a phone and a pen". I'm sure they mentioned a pen in the constitution, but I doubt they enshrined it as a way to circumvent congress. Michael

My first reaction was wow, way to win friends. But then it occurred to me that, given some of the people in the photo, for them to be dragging the flag on the floor was actually an appropriate image. K.

It's Trump's inauguration yet Variety puts his enemies and critics on the cover, which is typical of how the media shows it's massive overt bias. And at least two of those in the photo, Lena Dunham and and Chelsea Handler, said they would leave if Trump won (but not to Mexico or Iran, of course). And Van Jones was in Obama's cabinet. How is it newsworthy that he opposes a Republican president

All a matter of perspective - and each viewer's preconceptions. You could just as well have concluded that the group in the picture is in the process of picking the flag up from the floor while pointing out that Trump has been using it to wipe his feet for the last year.

I don't know. I learned the flag code as a child, but today I see them violated every day, and by people I'm sure consider themselves patriots. And it didn't cover flying the flag from your pick-up truck.
