I don't know: when I put my granddaddy's old sheffield against my neck, I lock the damn door. The women in my life are about 100lbs lighter than me, but I can't abide a creature half a moon away from a fit walking in, with me at such a disadvantage.

Basically, women are entitled to have feelings, regardless on who disagrees on the said situation. But men aren't entitled to have feelings if feminists/leftists tend to disagree.

This is what these fruitloops call equality. Women get leeway with their feelings while men get no leeway with theirs.

It’s hard to count the ways the company has harmed and degraded women since its founding in 2009 – whether it’s the company’s sexist campaign ads, claims of sexual assault and stalking, or reports of drivers attempting to abduct female passengers, Uber has built an irresponsible reputation.

More recently last month, BuzzFeed posted screenshots they’d received from a former Uber customer service rep, showing a high number of tickets containing the words “sexual assault” and “rape.”

“In one screenshot, a search query for “sexual assault” returns 6,160 Uber customer support tickets. A search for “rape” returns 5,827 individual tickets. Other variations of the terms yield similarly high returns: A search for “assaulted” shows 3,524 tickets, while “sexually assaulted” returns 382 results.”
So when we learned about Chariot For Women, a female-only ride sharing app set to launch on April 19, most of us thought it was a timely (and sadly, necessary) idea.

The app was launched after founder and former Uber driver Michael Pelletz had a negative encounter with a very drunk male rider, and when his wife expressed fear over becoming an Uber driver, according to LAist (Uber drivers can get to work right after watching a 13-minute training video).

Reports of sexual assault in taxis rose in New York last year, so a female-only service seems like the way to go.

After poking around for about an hour in articles related to Uber an Lyft, I have to say that I completely understand the comment above. Might be a great thing for those who have used Uber and had no issue doing so, and the company itself seems to be making money from the idea. (Though, I saw some pretty shady stuff related to the latter.) However, after reading some of this information, I'd do Chariots for Women long before I'd consider Uber. To me, that list seems staggering. Whether some people like it or not, the perpetrators in these news articles are male in the high majority of incidents listed.
