Teacher To Muslim Refugee Student: You’re A Terrorist, And I Can’t Wait Until Donald Trump Deports All You Muslims.

On one occasion, A.A.’s teacher showed a video to the class about 9/11 terrorists and then said to A.A. in front of the entire class, “That’s going to be you,” suggesting that he was destined to become a terrorist himself.

Another time, when A.A. raised his hand to answer a question, his teacher snapped at him — “All you Muslims think you are so smart” — in front of the entire class. Then, referring to the fact that A.A. and his family were resettled in the United States on refugee visas, the teacher started ranting about Donald Trump, telling A.A.:

“I can’t wait until Trump is elected. He’s going to deport all you Muslims. Muslims shouldn’t be given visas. They’ll probably take away your visa and deport you. You’re going to be the next terrorist, I bet.”

On the bus ride home, A.A.’s classmates mimicked his teacher’s anti-Muslim comments, taunting him about the fact that his visa would be revoked because he is a Muslim, calling him a “terrorist,” and accusing him of planning to blow up the bus.

But that’s not all: Earlier in the school year, the same teacher had refused to let A.A. pray during recess and, during class one day, she choked him because he would not stop talking with his classmates — even though she had instructed the class that they could have a few minutes of “downtime” to do just that.

When A.A.’s mother initially complained about these events, the school’s director sided with the teacher and claimed the teacher had done nothing wrong. (Unfortunately, this was not the first time the school director had been dismissive of reports that her staff had assaulted a student. In 2013, she sided with a bus driver who had allegedly slapped a six-year-old, prompting the child’s father to withdraw all five of his children from the school.)

And in January of this year — just a few days after the most recent complaint to the school, this time about the teacher’s rant over A.A.’s visa — school officials falsely claimed that A.A. had broken school rules by opening an emergency window on the school bus. They went on to effectively expel him, along with his younger sister, F.A., a second-grader, from the school.

I know this will be dismissed by Trump-defenders as just one person who took it the wrong way, and you will say that Trump isn't responsible, and tell yourselves that his election hasn't empowered and emboldened people who think this way.

But you would be wrong.

First, I don't believe it. Second, the source doesn't help me believe it. Third, A.A. isn't being crucified, which is happening in Muslem countries.

No, you're trying to imply that Trump being elected means everybody becomes more of a racist. It's a pathetic argument and doesn't make a lick of sense.

The collective whining from the fucking Left is beautiful. A complete demonstration of what a bunch of fucking children you all are.

Wow you're really good at telling me what I think.

I don't think that racism is anyone's identity... I think it's something that people do when they're frustrated and want easy answers. It's not something that anyone is willing to commit to wholeheartedly because they know what it would mean to do so... even neo-Nazis insist they're just proud of their race.

For the record, I DON'T think Trump is going to make people more racist than they were ever willing to let themselves be... I think he will aggravate and deepen racial and social divisions past the breaking point, and this will result in movements similar to what was seen in the 1960s.

I get that you don't approve and are so pleased that you finally got your revenge on the leftists that are obviously responsible for your misery, but what you don't seem to understand is that Trump isn't just a normal candidate and this isn't a 'win' in any sense. Power doesn't automatically result in total compliance, and in this case, the backlash is going to be absolutely explosive... the response to that could easily be a descent into full-blown fascism.

Wow! I guess we're forgetting, Fergason, Baltamore and a few other places under the Obama regime. What you need to keep in mind is that it's the leftist that are taught to hate. If it doesn't conform, hate it. It was leftists paid to riot at Trump rally's and then pointed at to show what Trump was doing. It's all a lie and you've bought the big box of kool aid packets.

im skeptical too---a teacher saying any of those things would relatively quickly be suspended, if not out of work period.

What else would you expect after that campaign? He was pitching his rhetoric at the dim and bigoted, so of course they're going to feel that they've been given a license to act up.

what is a "pretend cartoon"
it is or isnt a cartoon...
Its quite indicative of many of the rwnjs on this very board.
The fact you are using the word "mean" like its your new favourite fap word is hysterical.
Or are you simply of the mind that there is nothing wrong being done by trumps base? That they arent just as violent and vandalising and threatening people?

I'm sorry, I do forget how simple you are. Let me help you

Pretend:

adjective informal
1.
not really what it is represented as being; used in a game or deception.
"the children are pouring out pretend tea for the dolls"
synonyms: imaginary, imagined, pretended, make-believe, made-up, fantasy, fantasized, dreamed-up, unreal, invented, fictitious, mythical, feigned, fake, mock, sham, simulated, artificial, ersatz, false, pseudo;informalphony
"a pretend conversation"

In modern print media, a cartoon is an illustration or series of illustrations, usually humorous in intent. This usage dates from 1843, when Punch magazine applied the term to satirical drawings in its pages,[5] particularly sketches by John Leech. The first of these parodied the preparatory cartoons for grand historical frescoes in the then-new Palace of Westminster. The original title for these drawings was Mr Punch's face is the letter Q and the new title "cartoon" was intended to be ironic, a reference to the self-aggrandizing posturing of Westminster politicians.

Lucylastic -> RE: The Trump effect (11/12/2016 8:56:46 AM)

By its very nature a cartoon is not "real", its invented, fake, and mock(as in not real) so effectively a "pretend cartoon" is a double negative.

On the contrary, it is you who are entirely incorrect. I read the ACLU complaint. All of this teacher's alleged unacceptable behavior occurred prior to January, 2016, when the mother withdrew her children from the Academy of Excellence. Secondly, the teacher allegedly not only targeted the Muslim student in question, but was also derogatory and violent toward students of all skin hues. If true, the woman is slime, however this has fuck-all to do with Trump.

When it comes to wild prognostications, it appears that people across the spectrum seem to have lost their little minds. Despite Bush and Obama's expansion of presidential power by fiat, this still is a republic balanced in authority distributed in the main branches of government. For chrissakes people, calm the fuck down.

I've said for some time that the Republicans, via the tea party, was trying to control those hack Wall Street politician in the party and that it was time the democrats did the same. Glad to see it may happen.

http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/305617-seething-liberals-vow-revolution-in-democratic-party

Liberals are seething over the election and talking about launching a Tea Party-style revolt. They say it’s the only way to keep Washington Democrats connected to the grassroots and to avoid a repeat of the 2016 electoral disaster, which blindsided party elites.

Both of your YouTube clips were relevant an insightful. I have to say both of the commentators were spot on.
