Occasionally, you see the real Hillary come out, like this little twitter message. I find this rather conceited.

The difference is, Trump is 100% himself all the time.

Hillary plays a role.

Just because someone is acting like a douchebag, it doesn't mean they aren't actually an even bigger douchebag.

Greta75 -> RE: Hillary true colours (10/28/2016 9:49:05 AM)

It depends on what you consider a bigger douche.

Because I feel that people who are openly douche is usually not as bad as those who are closet douche.

It's often the ones that hide their doucheness that I am worried about. As you don't know what they are capable of on the doucheness level.

My point was that letting people know you're a douchebag isn't the same as letting them know what you are fully capable of.

Since Trump has zero political experience, nobody, including Trump himself, actually knows the answer to that.

That's exactly what is so scary about this phenomenon.

heavyblinker -> RE: Hillary true colours (10/28/2016 9:55:33 AM)

I should add that there is absolutely zero chance of Trump ever delivering on any of his promises.
I'm pretty sure he knows this, but there's also a small chance that he's sincerely as stupid and/or deranged as his supporters.

I think if a man can run a big business, he can run a whole country. I have absolutely zero concerns at someone with no political experience to run a country as long as he has experience in managing something big.
With Clinton, it's about 4 years of 0 change or improvement.

In my country, the criteria to qualify for running for President is to have experienced running a company worth at least 500 million or more. We do see it as relevant here. Yet no political experience is needed as a pre-requisite.

"Bankrupting" and "running" aren't synonyms.

Hillary went bankrupt too ya know. I don't know why nobody publishes that.
I was watching a program that show the history of the clintons. At one point of time, they ran totally out of money and was desperate. And this was after bill was President apparently.
I watched it on channel news asia on TV. They were featuring life story of Hillary and Trump.
Painted both in equally bad light.
Too bad I can't find the video on youtube but it surprises me nobody uses that.

That's because the president of Singapore is a largely ceremonial position and Singapore isn't even a true democracy.
The president of the USA actually does stuff and needs to be a bit more than an obnoxious loudmouth.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Hillary true colours (10/28/2016 11:06:48 AM)

All i see is Hillary a typical politician. And 100% trump, a non entity that is fuking invisible and off its head, and cannot be quelled with an antibiotic injections to the vein of throb of might..yet 45% of americans worship this beast predator and its one fuking brain cell...behold there people are they not a fuking marvel.

MercTech -> RE: Hillary true colours (10/28/2016 11:23:42 AM)

Hmm, so many are tired of the Washington "in crowd" that having no political experience can be seen as a BIG positive.

Maybe because it isn't true? I can't find that. What I do know is that they claimed to be dead broke upon leaving the White House, which if you looked at balance sheets, they were. But the fact is that they had major assets, such as name and experiences, that banks were willing to bet on so they were able to rebuild their wealth without ever declaring bankruptcy.

But even if they did, that's beside the point. Hilary is not running on her success as a businesswoman, Trump is. A history that includes 6 bankruptcies.

Yup, he ran a big business, into bankruptcy six times.

Now, from what I understand, bankruptcy is NOT a good thing, so this makes him a good guy to run the country?

Seriously?

Anyone who thinks that fucking the whole system without a plan to recreate something that works, with trump in the mix is fucking mental

MrRodgers -> RE: Hillary true colours (10/28/2016 1:52:25 PM)

Come on kinkroids, add it all up. Scandal, lies, people fucked over, shitty politician, history of failed deals and promises, uranium deal.

Almost certainly laws broken, a moneygrubbing capitalist. Shall I go on ?

The PERFECT republican candidate for POUS. Red, white and green...Hillary.

Same with people saying Trump went bankrupt 4 times. He never declared personal bankruptcy too. He was billions of dollars in debt and he bounced back up.

The Clintons were 10 million in debt after the Presidency. And they did bounce back up too.

My point is, bankruptcy or being under means nothing AS LONG as the person bounced back up.

Lucylastic -> RE: Hillary true colours (10/28/2016 5:35:35 PM)

And MY point was that you ignorantly declared...

And you know as well as I do that all too often bankruptcy for a company, is to cover the arse of a personal bankruptcy from happening.
He lost a billion in a year. PERSONALLY.
Not just bankruptcy for his companies, employees and other companies relying on his "business sense".

Actually the point is, both Hillary and Trump faced the exact same thing. Both were in different careers.

Trump has refused to declare personal bankruptcy despite being 1 billion in debt.
The Clintons were 10 million in debt. Clinton herself mentioned they were "dead broke" after the Presidency.
Trump renegotiated payments with the bank to crawl his way up.
The Clintons regain their wealth through Clinton doing speeches.

To me, if a person have no failures, it means the NEXT one is gonna be brutal.

But Trump has enough failures to learn from it and how to manage things better.

I don't see all these failures as a negative.

And that's my point. Both candidates been in that place.

On top of that, most of his bankruptcies, happened in 1991.

And the other time he ran into problems was during the 2008 financial crisis. Which is precisely a property crisis. Many people suffered and died at that time. He survived.

Your responses are sincerely mind-boggling... like a cult member in need of deprogramming. Trump's personal qualities are undoubtedly the worst thing about him, and yet you keep mentioning them as if he's your schoolgirl crush, and Hillary is a big meanie from the popular girl group that makes fun of you for wearing braces or something.

If you just think he's cute or something then fine, but acting like you have deep insight into his character despite cultural barriers etc. just isn't going to work. Neither of these candidates are wonderful people... but the way in which Hillary is horrible is less terrifying than the way in which Trump is horrible.
