Status: offline 		Well the US doesn't get credit for its socialism for the rich which these sources, communists all, I am sure, feel they need to...place under corruption. Plus I am thinking maybe, just maybe the low ranking US might be there because there are so few real free markets. Hard to tell from their criteria.

But one thing I noticed about personal and, monetary freedom from which springs the concept that in order to enjoy them...you need a decent paying job and money. Somethings in the US...people either don't have or are running out of or just don't have anymore.

I wonder where US corporate profits and tax avoidance rank ? At least there could be a no. 1 ranking there.

Actually in a way, I think you've tapped into something here. The OP is entitled with the expression 'free markets.' America conversely uses a form of capitalism and I say more accurately termed...moneyism. Thus in the US, markets exist for a profit...the sole reason for being. Such esoteric things as 'free' markets, people meaning the 'social' aspect and country are really of no meaning in that regime.

So theses sources fail to take into account the immense profits a company or corporation can make in Ireland...er Panama..er the US. I am sure as I mentioned, on that front...America is no. 1.

So technically, the tax is the same, but socialist countries saves on education and healthcare and thus have more spending money.

I seriously question how US manages their taxpayers money. It just sounds like terrible money management.

Trump brought up that Obama spend multi-millions, wasting I would say, just on Obamacare website, whereas Trump could have got it done for way less. It's just an example of, I seriously question if they are using tax payer money efficiently.

They are not getting the best deals at the lowest cost, they are not doing a good job at money management at the moment.

When I compare it to my country. It makes sense there is no free health care and education, because, there are low taxes. And we are happy with the low tax. We don't want those things free.

(unless of course, you are a farmer or wall street invest. banker) In any case, inevitably, there will be big profits...or why do it ?

That's why no single payer. Any single payer in the US, will be raped...just like Medicare.

Funny how that article tries to smear the Democrats even though it was the Republicans that created the financial destruction of 2008-2009. Right now, according to NPR, most people around the world have a very favorable view of President Obama and America. We are at day 1700+ to which the Republicans said they would push a jobs bill through Congress; still waiting on that bill.

The USA is a great nation to visit and do business; just stay out of the gun-happy zones that wave yellow flags with snakes on them.

Yes, that was due to the Republicans in Congress forgetting they have to actually pay bills, handle financial problems, and stop lying to everyone (including our creditors). Yes, there was that fateful moment in which our bond rating slipped from AAA to AA. The Republicans were trying to push the entire fault on to the President; unfortunately, US History shows they were the ones at fault. Because if the President has to do Congress's job; maybe we should remove all the useless Republicans from Congress. That is what REAL business leaders do to mangers that are not performing. Yes, the Republican Party, 'business leaders' all of them. If you believe that, I got some land in Alpha Centauri to sell you....

Well, we remove all the Republicans from our government that removes corruption and increases innovation, technology, and freedom across the nation. Red tape gets cut after we create the 27th to nullify the 2nd to remove it entire. No need for gun laws after that is gone, right? Also, remove all those silly christian laws that attack non-straight individuals and remove voter ID laws. Compared to other nations, our taxes our low for a large nation. We shore up investor and consumer laws on the financial markets. Yes, we'll hit #1 spot shortly there after.

US is seriously in a hole. They self-appoint themselves as world police, got involve heavily in other country's problems, spending their tax payer money on it.

So if Bernie takes over, US is seriously gonna officially have the highest taxes in the world, because on top of war funding, there is education and healthcare funding. Sheesh. 90% sounds just about right.

Actually, they don't if you bothered to read.
Let me help you out.

Denmark cut the corporate tax rate 25 -> 22%. Corporate taxes in Europe under the global average and still falling.
The Corporate Tax Rate in Sweden stands at 22 percent.
The corporate income tax rate is 20.0% in Finland
Ireland is 12.5%

So - why don't you tell me what country has higher corporate tax rates than us. Oh yeah. None.
And for the record that tax rate is 35%.

Now certainly, I'm aware that corrupt politicians have given the big 5 comapanies 77 billion in tax breaks. But you don't think their's corruption in other countries also - or preferential treatment. Of course there are.

Its high tax rates that let lobbyists earn fees by bribing politicians to give sweetheart deals.

For every Fortune 500 company that can bribe their way to lower tax payments - there's a 1000 small businesses that are stuck paying the full boat. Much like mcain feingold - its the incumbent (big business) protection racket.

Thompson, we collect military toys, but we have never used them. We don't get involve in wars. US actually send their soldiers and equipments to personally get involve in wars in other countries and that cost more. Alot more.

We simply collect toys. Our military expenses is nothing. Plus the fact that we are 300 billion in surpluses, we can afford it. You guys cannot. Our government knows how to manage budgets and grow our money. So I don't care about our government spending on military toys as long as our surpluses continues to grow.

Large, profitable U.S. corporations paid an average effective federal tax rate of 12.6% in 2010, the Government Accountability Office. The effective corp. tax rate in 2014, was 20% or 27% depending on who you read.

Plus, according to who one reads, approx. 30% of corp. tax revenue is realized through Sub Chapter S corp. which taxes the corp. the same as individual income almost all of which is below the 35% corp. statutory rate.

There mere fact that there are various deductions that apply to certain businesses and not to others, makes it very difficult to determine actual effective tax rates.

Perhaps you could get a grown up to do the sums for you.
How many f 35 have you bought (that do not work) for 300 million each. How much did that third world shithole called singapore pay into the development of the f 35 (that does not work)?
How much did you pay for the 50 f15 and the 60 f16? How much did you pay for the continuing supply line to keep them working? These are just three items in a huge laundry list of war toys. Perhaps this is why that third world shithole called singapore has nearly a third of it's population living below the poverty level. Perhaps this is why that third world shithole is lower than nigeria in gdp.
Perhaps if the nazi leader of that third world shithole spent a little of that money on the people you would not have nearly a third of your population living in poverty.
