The American people were denied the knowledge that it was the US govt. that used the CIA to take out two democratically elected govts. in Iran and Iraq in the 50's and 60's, one of which directly resulted in the (our) installation of the Shah in Iran. whereupon he became not just a, but our...despotic butcher. Now the America people refuse to believe that the CIA/FBI have taken their act to our own home front.
The American people (western nations) were denied the knowledge let alone input into US (western) foreign policy vis-a-vis the re-writing of ME states boundaries and politics with the dissolution of the Ottoman empire after WWI.
The CIA was formed merely to be a central intel gathering point to present a collective view for the pres. and his foreign policy apparatus. The CIA was never legally empowered to conduct black ops. Since WWII, it's grown into an independent $30 billion black hole that is Murder Inc. and will create war, revolution and mayhem to serve its ends.
Thus, western hegemony, oil domination and long memories of the ME, have us all paying the price now. The idea that we are at war with the Islamic culture and their alleged desire to go back and live in the 12th cent. is unmitigated bullshit and mere cover (propaganda) for the creation, the maintenance, profits and further hegemony of the govt. in a so-called 'War on Terror' simply to support our domination and attempts to continue it.
Where is the war with Muslim Indonesia, Turkey, Malaysia, Kuwait, Saudi et all ? NO !! As long as they play ball and go along with the west's goals, we are not at war there. So who had to go ? Qaddafi, Hussein, Assad now, and the Iranian mullahs. Only those that don't play ball or get in the way.
