That younger women aren't voting for Hillary simply along gender lines is rubbing them the wrong way.

IMO, voting for Clinton because she's a woman is just as bad as voting against her because she's a woman.

Is there a vast belief that a woman (in general) isn't qualified to be President because of gender? If there was, I could see a point in voting for Clinton because she's female (she is, technically, as qualified as Sanders to be President); proves that a female is fit to be President.

If women aren't voting for Hillary, could it be that she's unpopular among women? Could it be that her politics, and/or her "body of work" are unpopular? Could it be that she's seen as less trustworthy as Sanders?

In America, we need to get to that point where skin color, gender anatomy, gender identity, and all the other inconsequential categorical data isn't used for or against a person.

The funniest thing happened about a year ago. My neighbor's husband died and she had to work and she asked me to pick up her kids so I arrived at the school early and I watched this mother wearing a bright pink shirt fawn all over the little girls (it was all girls), who were dressed in similar pink shirts.

Then a man showed up in the same shirt. One man. So, I sidled up to him, while I was waiting for the kids to get out of detention (long story on that) and asked "what's up with the shirts?".

I was floored by his answer.
Literally he told me that he was "empowering young girls" for something like making their own decisions, by having a girls team for running. He said girls don't get a chance to be on sports, or something like that.

Silly me, I told him I just watched the idiotic other adult fawn all over the little girls, which was the EXACT OPPOSITE of what their stated purpose was.

Wouldn't you know it.
He says "That's my wife!".

Heh heh ... they were clueless.

It wasn't little "kids"; it was little girls.
And, what the mother was doing was clearly telling the little girls, in effect, that 'what's important" is to be "pretty".

There's nothing wrong with that message, but then, to say the problem is that "girls don't have confidence" (or whatever exactly it was the father told me - at the time I was floored by his statements because they were in total and stark contrast to his wife's actions).

Am I the only one who sees the problem here with where the parents think the problem is?

HINT: The problem isn't in the 'little girls'; and it's not going to be "fixed" by fixing the little girls.

Jokes aside, I think the problem with the image of Hillary is, she forgave her husband for cheating. That is not the action of an empowered modern women who will not take shit from her man! On top of that, when other women came forward to claim some other sexual things happened with Bill, I mean, with monica, it was no question, but despite that, she condemned the other women for their claims and waive it off as false.

I think that damaged her as a female role model for females big time.

While I personally will also forgive my man for cheating, most probably, but that's because I'm okay with open relationships, and cheating isn't to me, like the worst offence he could commit.

But in the vanilla world, they just love to see strong powerful woman accept no excuse for cheating and dump the guy and move on. To show that she will be fine with or without him.

I think that will always be a stain on her record as a female role-model. And that's why she gets no female support.

She neglects to recognize Obama promised Change, who like Clinton, moved strongly to the Center to get Anything done. The urge of Millenials, and any other intelligent patriot,for a government that has an unpoliticized, transparent and efficient bureaucracy, particularly the AG, FDA and EPA departments, is unrealized. Which leaves people Pissed.
Most are unaware one of Obama's most egregious mistakes was not fighting for more balanced and timely judicial appointments, which dooms us to another generation of Right Wing crap judicial decisions when we desperately need creative and realistic Non-ideological solutions to novel situations facing not only the US, but Mankind.
Bernie is speaking Truth to Power and about the abuses of the financial elite. Hillary is placating both looking for dollars. Same 'ole crap doesn't get the enthusiasm as a real determination to solve all the incredibly complex situations facing all of us. Femininist or not, everyone wants an actually effective president, in tune with the realities of 2016. Whatever Bernie's limitations, it's not failure to understand we have to address critical long term problems. Short term solutions to whatever the media has the uneducated populace upset about only aggravates everything wrong now. Trump is the classic dog and pony show distracting the rubes from the real choices we have to make to decide the future of Western Civilization, if not the planet. Staged largely by the Media to keep the financial interests out of the campaign and the various phony issues front and center. The Right claims the media are Liberal, but ALL the owners are monstrously wealthy and keep attention on items other than how they got that way, and what sustains their process.
