Actually Nymph I got the idea from a muslum friend of mine who is both one hell of a nice guy, and hates IS. Not a lifestyler.

Lucylastic -> RE: So what if (9/5/2015 5:42:53 AM)

I wonder if you had made the comments about pigs/pork being used towards the jewish community, if you would have had different responses

blnymph -> RE: So what if (9/5/2015 6:02:57 AM)

certainly a good friend but I would give him just the same advice

My! On the transgender in Missouri thread you were posturing as a stalwart defender of those you believed to be in the grip of transgenic dyphoria. Now you are making cynically jokes about a blatant case of transgenic-phobia.

I have no idea what you're talking about, and not much confidence that you do either.

K.

thanks for the reminder Bama :D

There was a Gary Cooper movie, can't remember the name, that took place in the Phillipines. In it he got information out of a Muslim terrorist by threatening to bury him in a pigs skin.

Ok found it

What do you think? Kryptonite to a jihadist?

K.

Given that they use those already....no. Are you even aware what century they have access to in terms of technology!?!?!?!?

K was referring to the Christian cross and Christian message engraved into the receiver. Unfortunately, a little bit of metal work would make it saleable to any terrorist on the planet.

dcnovice -> RE: So what if (9/5/2015 12:04:58 PM)

I see the cross but not the message. (Overdue for new glasses.)

What does it say?

According to FOX, the message says “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle,”.

You may not need new glasses, I got the verse elsewhere.

As I said, a grinder could make it palatable for any religious or secular terrorist in a matter of a few minutes.

ETA Kirata, please correct me there if I got my rifles mixed up and yours is from a different source.

Thanks, Hill!

It's so nice to have you back where you belong. [:)]

I could see some enterprising young soul setting up some sort of production line to modify the symbol and the prayer seems pretty generic so that most any god would work. Was someone going to donate a bunch to Dash/Isel/Isis?
