One of my favorite subjects!

My first tattoo is a dragon on my left upper arm. This was my coming-of-age tattoo. I made the appointment a couple of weeks before my 18th birthday, and the tattoo was done three days after my 18th birthday. It was a really powerful experience.

My second tattoo is a celtic knotwork armband around my right arm. It represents my Irish heritage.

On the top of my left foot I have the kanji for water. This was done by a very dear friend, who I introduced to the artist she apprentinced with. This was the second tattoo she ever did. I feel an affinity for water, and am a Scorpio, which is a water sign.

My back is currently a work in progress. There is a dragon and two faries. When it is finished, it will be symbolic of all I have achieved.

I have a kanji over my left breast, however I am looking into getting it covered up.

I am planning a phoenix rising from the ashes on my thigh, to symbolize my transformation after my divorce.
