ORIGINAL: Zonie63 Regardless of what anyone "in the know" might admit to, it's not anything new that there may be those in power who are corrupt and tend to use legal and bureaucratic trickery to get their way. The problem is that it eventually becomes structurally weakened, which makes government itself less effective. (Lawyers are not the only ones who know how to game the system, so the more people who do it, the greater strain there is.) I agree with much of what you said, however: What judge is going to rule 100% in favor true justice with a gun pointed at their heads? They will always leave an opening for the holder of the gun 'corporate criminals' to circumvent the system. Of course the shear beauty of the system is the corporate criminals are sanctioned to insure little criminals fail, so competition will never be a problem! What a racket! For instance, despite the removal of evidence from the crime scene which has always been a crime since the beginning of time, the government instead passes a law making the already well known crime a crime and the retardnation in turn repeats it in pretense their elected has actually done something! "Look at that they made a law" so now we can hang them if they do it 'again', when we could have hung them in the first place but no one will because everyone who tries is murdered and in very creative ways in many cases. The moral of that story is that the government at large is protecting the criminals by giving the impression that there was no law to prosecute under completely ignoring eternally standing judicial 'precedence'. People do not know any better and do their civil duty and vote, then roll over and go to sleep till its time to vote again. There is a long list of court atrocities starting with the most obvious 'corporations are people' and the removal of 'right of dominion' in property ownership decisions over the last 150 years. There is a growing criminal cancer that has a strangle hold on everyone who has worked their asses off their whole lives to have something and has the right to protect their own interests obliterated being forced to turn a blind eye while the fox on top of the food chain raids their hen house leaving a trail of bodies and destroyed lives in its wake.
