since no one's picked up yet on the "republican war on women" language, i'll approach the thread from that perspective.

what liberal women seem to miss in the whole "republican war on women" meme, is that democrats overwhelmingly reduce women to the sum total of their reproductive parts.

republicans want to ban my ability to kill my unborn baby right up until the time he is 90% out of womb. war on women!

republicans want me to pay for my own birth control personally. war on women!

and all those conservative women who vote republican---they must be what? the female equivalent of an uncle tom?

or maybe they are naïve and don't realize they are in the enemy camps being waged war on?

or maybe they are brainwashed or fearful, you know, being victims of the patriarchy and all.

or maybe they (and we) all understand the whole "war on women" phrase as a strategy meant to distract people from Obama's failures.

another braindead post but at least you are partially on topic
ill be back in five minutes to tell you why,

You're calling for something you can't seem to do. It's beyond funny!

I do it very well, every day - just as Michael was doing in this thread above before you launched your personal attack against him, starting this derail

Which is precisely why you and yours must resort to your standard trollishness, as you did in response to Michael, to try to shut down legitimate debate

Then of course when you get called on it you cry and whine because you started a derail and got called on it

FFS grow up, as you say

Musicmystery -> RE: Republican women doing the right thing. (1/31/2015 9:24:05 AM)

Where's your post on the topic again?

Oh yeah...you can call for it, but mainly you just offer personal attacks.

Jump, troll, jump! [:D][:D][:D]

Really, someone should do a case study.

To those same leftists, those who take offense to Islam literally enslaving women and treating them worse than I treat my cattle are "Islamaphobes" etc

Indeed, "leftists" do "take offense to Islam literally enslaving women and treating them worse than cattle."

Hey! You got one right!

But that's not the same as an Islamaphobe. That's the nutters running around screaming "The Moooslems are coming! They're gonna Sharia Law ya!"

This is about the rights of American women. And it's true, the right has a poor record on this, to this day.

You do realise that it was republican women that went against the bill, not leftists.
And that I gave them kudos?
And meant it?
btw, still not on topic as you are not discussing the thread, you are just digging at leftists.
Oh and by the way the only reason I dint respond to mike and MM is because YOU baited about me being hypocritical and i knew it would make your pus come to the surface like a hypersonic zit pop
suck it up, i have no intention of NOT calling you on your bullshit, because thats all you ever post

Why in the Hell are legislators passing things they haven't read closely?!? That irritates the snot out of me (and with this head cold, I have a lot of snot!!)!!

Same here. Part of the problem, I think, is that bills have swelled to the size of phone books, and people cram everything on Earth into them. I'd like to see some sort of mechanism for determining whether amendments/additions are truly germane. Perhaps a 2/3 vote? Or maybe a small, bipartisan panel of retired legislators? Or approval from the bill's sponsors?

Hope you feel better soon!

Due to the high number of complaints about this thread, I will be locking it.

Those members posting in a Feisty section that get upset when another member says something they don't like and then say things the other one doesn't like and everyone getting on my case for things that are allowed and members pick the area they are active in, sure seems odd to me. Then what do I know? I can't play favorites, I don't know how, so I am going to say, you are all bad, stay out of my email.

[;)]

Just to be clear; my edit was to put a ? in instead of a . I do hope that is okay.
