I wish you, a safe, peaceful, happy 2015, cos holding grudges only hurts one person.

My turn the other cheek thing doesn't extend that far,with my neck issues my cheek can only turn so much anyway

Twenty-fifteen, I realized over lunch at my beloved diner, began with a blessing so momentous I almost overlooked it: I woke up in my own bed, in my own clothes, in my own room.

Huge improvement over starting last year in the hospital.

ETA:

And actually, the simple words "I woke up" bespeak a blessing of their own. Not every cancer patient is around two years after diagnosis.
