How do you refer to your partner in your mind? I am not asking what you call them out loud, but what do you call them inside your head?

For me, I do not think of my Lord by his first name. I never have. In the beginning he was always Knight, then Sir and once the relationship was formalized he became my Lord. There was a period of time that I was instructed to call him “my Sir”, but I always thought of him as my Lord. When others say his name, I have a hard time making the connection that they are talking about him and I have only said his name once in his presence to introduce him to someone.

He is the same way with my real name. He met a few of my employees last week and I watched him struggle with using my real name. To him I am kyra or baby.

What do you call your partner?

Generally i call them Master or Mistress in my head as well as out loud, though occasionally he will be"oh you evil man" or "precious"and she will be "you cutey" or "wicked female" in my brain.

Of course since everyone is aware of our lifestyle i call them this out loud constantly so there is never any confusion for me. Even at work Master says"the girls" and they know what he means.

I call him baby or honey, by his name, or shithead depending upon the situation and what mood Im in. If we are in the bedroom he's definitely slut

Well as you all know my partner if my Wife and Free Companion (Which means she is a Gorean Free Woman and Mistress in her own right). I refer to her internally and vocalising as "babe" except on format occasions when I call her Neets

Well, the one and only Dominant I had I referred to as "Sir", or his name and then "Sir"(his name was Michael). My husband, I referred to, at times, as all sorts of endearing terms like: "My fuzzy, bunny, zebra-gorilla man" or "My sweet ape", which no self-respecting Dominant or Master will probably put up with (for long). My husband didn't appear to like it much either, so I stopped.

So I guess when the time comes, it is back to "Sir" or "Master" - although I have to say, once I know someone's name, I do like using it so I may want to attach it to those other terms, if they let me. And, once in a great while, just calling them by their first name I like to do - is that bad? If they didn't want me to do that, I'd stop.

I have always called my submissive "Puppy" or "Pup". It got to the point that my friends started to call him "puppy", I put a stop to that real quick. Now they just say, "How's your pup?". I finally got tired of stuttering over his real name in front of family, so I just call him Puppy in front of them. When my minor nephew asks why I call him that, I tell him that it is a nickname or pet name lol Anyone who hangs out with us long enough and hears him whine (Like a puppy, not like a brat) understands why I call him Puppy.
He calls me Mistress in private and my real name in public. Although he has slipped a couple times in public.

Master. sometimes "Beloved Master" because this slave loves Him or "Worshipful Master" because this slave was raised in a Masonic family... never "my", because He is not this slave's posession and never anything derogatory, because this slave never thinks of Him as anything derogatory, even as a joke.

In my head, the Kaptin is always "Sir." He's always been Sir, and that's what I call Him when speaking TO Him. In vanilla company I MIGHT call Him Michael, but that feels weird to me.

When speaking OF Him I will either refer to Him as Master or the Kaptin.

Of course, there are a bunch of other things I call Him from time to time. Rat Bastard comes to mind...

Master. Whether by spoken word or in my mind, he is always Master. Sometimes he is Dear Master, or Darling Master, but always Master.

When referring to him to my "vanilla" friends, he is Mr. Wonderful.

I call My girl apb which stands for all purpose bitch. I also call her baby, sweetie, My love, or sexy girl. In My mind she's all of those but especially Mine.

Hello kyra,

In my head I probably refer to him as his name, as we have been friends longer than Master/slave.....but even his name MEANS Master, to me.

I did refer to him out loud recently as *a cold hearted reptile* which wasn't received terribly well for obvious reasons and could be why I'm sitting on some rather painful lash marks right this moment.....lol

In my head, Fox is "mine" or "slave" or "sexy" or just "Fox". They pretty much mean the same thing to me.

Outloud what I call him varies greatly based on my mood but usually its just fox or foxboy.

Actually, in my head, I always refer to him as He. Don't know why, but I always have.
In company with others, I always use his first name, unless instructed by him to do otherwise.
It is the same with me, in company, he always uses my first name.

To answer this question in regards to alandra, I think of her as either alandra, sis or Mz Smarty Pants since she scored higher on the IQ test than either our Lord or me.

in regards to my Lord.... most times it is *Him, or my Lord* thou the times i am in a playful headspace it does take alot to not vocalize the * aahh such a cute little boy* thoughts going through my head. *eg* i think i am going to pay for this sis.

in regards to kyra, either kyra , love, or sis is how i think of her, like our Lord i have a very hard time thinking and using her real name.

Even in my head I call SR "darling" or "Duckie"... and when I refer to her, whether among friends or new associates (including at work) I call her my "mate".

When I served in the household, even in my mind, the Owners were "Sir" or "Lady" -- Ebony, though, I always thought of as "Hand of Justice", or "the Hand"... I couldn't even bring myself to think of disappointing him or crossing him, even in my dark fantasies in the midst of my worst anger at how things were going.
