The article also says: "The upside here is that Republicans still have plenty of potential candidates who are not facing criminal indictments. The legal decimation of the party’s mainstream wing could even, paradoxically, help the GOP nominate a non-extreme candidate, by making it easier for the Establishment to consolidate early around a single standard-bearer."

Yeah, I read that, and my ingrained starchblocker kicked in because there is (paradoxically) no logical explanation of the paradox used as a brief but teetering included middle placekeeper that would lift it out of the page and instill it in my mind. I would need to see someone who shows their work, you understand, Tim. I see it, but don't believe it.
