My first point is: they can (again) attack us.
My second point is: they will (again) attack us.
My question is: what should we do?

When exactly did Iraq attack us again?

And what color is the sun in your world?

We didn't exactly attack Afghanistan.

You are a not telling the truth.. Have you never read the newspaper or heard faux nuze. Yes you fucking lying ignorant disingenuous perveyor of pulcritude, we did attack afghanistan.

We toppled the Taliban because they were harboring AQ. Had the Taliban been okay with us coming in to get AQ, they'd likely still be in power today.

Would you be ok with me coming in your house and draging one of your family members out so I could hang them?

Just like we didn't go into Iraq to beat Iraq in a war, but to topple Saddam Hussein.

Do you even read the moronic shit you post?

OBL was a Saudi. He was connected to the royal family. He was no longer a Saudi by the time he masterminded 9/11,

This would be your ignorant unsubstantiated opinion

though, being an outcast of both his own family and his home country.

Please cite for the efforts of the saudi govt to aprehend him or cut off his finances?

Is it really a big stretch to accept that he might still have influence with the peoples he grew up among?

That would be a streach only for a bald headed moron.

If an American in Guatemala attacked Mexico, would that be the US attacking Mexico? Would it be an amazing shock if many of those who planned and took part in the attack were also Americans?

If an american in mexico attacked cuba would that be the u.s. attacking cuba? Yes it was richad bissel of the cia and the bay of pigs is where it happened. It was no amazing shock that all of those who planned and took part in the attack were american.

Iraq crisis: Baghdad prepares for the worst as Islamist militants vow to capture the city

When Obama finds out about this in the newspapers tomorrow, I bet no one will be angrier than him

We Americans see ourselves as Americans first, then as Christians or Jews or Dimocrats or firemen or whatever. We tend to think first of our nationality.
That is not, generally, how Muslims see themselves. Their primary self-identification is as Muslim.

I use "them" as do they.

Carter, on the other hand, will be exceptionally thankful this morning as he dances a little jig, exalting:

"Thank you, Lord; I am not the worst!!! I am not. I am not! I am not! NOT!!! NOT!!!!
the worst!!!!

Libya is next.....

I agree, completely!

We should stop "fucking over" the world by ...

... no longer providing financial aid and teaching them that suckling at America's teat is no way to be self-sufficient.

... no longer being the "world's police force" whenever they have an internal issue, they'll have to send their own troops (sorry, France).

... no longer stationing troops anywhere but our own borders.

... no longer providing "humanitarian aid" since most of it is lost in pork barrel bullshit and doesn't get to the people it's supposed to help.

... no longer being signatories to free trade agreements, NATO, or the UN, thereby making a few of the things I've already listed "possible".

... no longer giving a fuck about anything that happens outside our borders unless it truly affects us.

Yeah, we should stop "fucking over" the world. They need to be left on their own.

Well duh.....so did I, and Bush was right to invade to go after AQ. He fucked that up too by letting OBL slip away but no biggie eh !

Why invade Afghanistan then, if they were so completely innocent as you claim above. Just to get one man?

You do realize that al-Qaeda is more than just one man, don't you. Sure, Barack beat his chest like Tarzan when the Seals got bin Laden, but that neither won nor lost the war despite all of Obama's premature crowing and bragging

People are facing mass beheadings by al-Qaeda forces in Iraq as we speak, and women there are being told that if they go outside without good reason they will be severely punished (how do "liberals" support this?)

All the best parts of the Koran are being brought to bear on the population Bush once made safe

Its almost as bad now as it was when Saddam was in charge there

The reason given by Bush was to destroy AQ after 9/11. If he had an ulterior motive (Which he may well have done) you need to ask him.

Maybe you feel the Bush Doctrine (Google it) has worked out okay.

Then you're an idiot about Islam as well. Sunnis and Shia and Sufi are hardly united this way. Iraq and Iran were not at war because nationality wasn't important. Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia are not exactly brothers.

laughable fucking morons the nutsackers.

The drums of war were beating again on my TV screen this morning. That great masterbeater, John -I never saw a war I didn't enjoy - McCain made the idiotic claim that what is happening in Iraq is "an existential threat to the United States." Really!!!!!

Obama is Bush Lite, carrying through what Bush the Armchair Wanna Warrior started.

And yes, it was irresponsible, stupid, short-sighted, and with long term effects. Doesn't matter who's president or who will be president -- we're gonna be in Iraq and Afghanistan for decades.
