Actually Cloudboy, I think spinning Treyvon as an innocent merely walking home from a sweet tooth candy run is pretty damn racist. If he can't be what he actually was, then you're spinning race hate.

I use lime gatoraid and rum when I sometimes just want to drink to excess. I did research grog. I think my mix is still within the legal definition put forth by the Royal Navy.

I've meditated quite a bit on actually taking life with it and living through the aftermath. I'm prepared to do all of that. But, you know, just for you, should I change the rules I have set for my actions based on skin color? Why do you make it a racist thing. Killing someone is a big deal. Why do you want to belittle it with Monday morning racist turmoil? And you see pixie, cloadboy has been polite and I am being polite in return.

Brits can do a pretty good job in a supporting role. I imagine they appreciate the opportunity to work in decent weather, too.

I think it's because a lot of rich people back east use British accents to sound more classy and sophisticated. Like the people who go to "Haaah-vaaaard," which makes people associate the accent with snootiness and haughty condescension. Brits seem to use more formal and upper class speech. However, one thing that I learned from a discussion on the subject of British accents is that Americans generally hear the accents of British actors, newscasters, and other public figures who use what is called "Received Pronunciation" (a term I never heard up until a few years ago). Some of the more local/regional accents may not be familiar to most Americans.

Perhaps "80s parties" are ageist against people over 30? Perhaps almost everything nowadays is a reason for somebody to feel offended and harmed because their label or designation was simply mentioned? Ya, just maybe.
