Yeah, I don't think we'll get an answer on that one. Since those that pushed that bill through were....ELECTED...to public office before hand. And that Congress (House and Senate) were under the Democrat's Control. Not to mention the White House. That the bill was 'debated' for thirteen months before the vote in March of 2010. And when I say debate...
Those on the left and middle discussed as adults how exactly things would be defined. How the mechanics of the law would work to cutting down costs, keeping the courts unclogged with cases, and providing an easier to use system of healthcare for all Americans. Not exactly an easy set of tasks...
Those on the right doing everything and anything to discredit, undermine, stop, slow, and destroy the entire process. That the conservative media sources were full (daily ( might add) of disinformation on anything related to the process. Placing the President and Democrats in the most unfavorable light, while showing Republican/Tea Party as saints and heroes.
Well, the Affordable Care Act is the law of the land. Has survived forty-seven....FAILED....attempts by Republican/Tea Party to stop funding for it. After the first one or two, that would have stated 'opposition'; but after 47? That's called 'desperation'. Republican/Tea Party knew that once Americans started cutting through the GOP/TP bullshit, got the facts, and tried it out; that they would either be happy with it, or demand it to be improved upon.
