Ever have one of those words that keeps gnawing atcha?

There's this word that, for a very long time, has been popping in and out of my head.

"Chudwah."

I don't know where I heard it, but it kinda rolls off the tongue.

Sooo, thinking to myself I said,

"Self...you'd better find out what it means before you use it in a sentence."

Oookay, and with this thought in mind, I did a simple Google search.

Nothing.

Hmmm, so it's origin is probably a result of an overactive imagination or a flight if fancy while experiencing a drug-induced psychosis.

Once again, that word! So today I went to Wackypedia and found it! Damn, I love it when I'm right! Fur sure it's a word that I read on Usenet back in the 1990s.

Get this:

CHUDWAH From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia CHUDWAH is a derogatory term for "Vanilla" (non-kinky) heterosexual men who cruise Internet BDSM newsgroups and chat rooms looking for easy sex. It roughly translates as Clueless Heterosexual Dominant Wannabee. Sometimes referenced as CHuDWah.
It is a popular myth that women in the BDSM scene are highly sexed and easily manipulated, mostly due to images created in BDSM pornography aimed at a largely vanilla audience. In fact, women in the BDSM scene tend to be more discriminating and cautious than the general population.

The result is that BDSM women are frequently approached online by asocialized men who are inexperienced in D/s or BDSM and who expect them to submit to their demands in the fashion of the characters in a BDSM porn story. These men are labeled CHUDWAH and derided or flamed. The use of the term "Kneel before Me, bitch!" will get one quickly labeled as CHUDWAH.

The term was coined by "the Horseman" on the USENET newsgroup alt.support.bondage in April 1994 as CHDW, referring to "clueless Hetboys". He stated that the correct pronunciation was "chud-wuh".

Now the word makes perfect sense, and does it sound familiar to anyone else?

I haven't been on IRC that much in the last9-10 years but CHUDWah rang a very faint
bell but coulldn't drag it out of my Swiss Cheese Brain until someone posted the
Wikipedia article.

Can it be used in Scrabble? Since, by Scrabble rules, any agreed uopon dictionary is valid, can Wikipedia be considered a dictionary? I am sorta serious,, lol, and it is a seven-letter word (50 pt bonus!)...

AS is true in the SSC and Rack and lifestyle as a whole, I think that any agreed upon (consensual) dictionary would be valid..........the trick will be getting them to buy into the assumption so you can slap the shit outta them with the deal........

Thats where my head would be at, vis a vis the wikipedia, maybe have them watch a miracle on 34th street to lull them into a false sense of security....

CHUDWAH has been around awhile, been used on the newgroups for a long time. Some others you may find useful:

HNG - Horny Net Geek
SNERT - Snot Nosed, Egotistical, Ranting Troll (originally an AOL Chat term that was defined as Snot Nosed, Egotistical, Raving Teenager. Also the name of the cartoon character Hagar the Horrible's pet dog.)
Asshat - Term used on Literotica for someone who has an ass where they wear their hat. (Synonomous with, but not as malodorous as, s**t-head) *WEG*
