It's an interesting case. Consider this alternative situation. An adult woman, 100% consensually, sends her boyfriend a naked picture, with the understanding that he will never show it to anyone. They later break up, and he, in a douchebag move, posts the photo on the internet. Time goes by, and I eventually see the photo, like it, and masturbate to it. Does my action demean her? Does it cause her damage? Should I be liable? What is different between the child abuse situation and the situation I'm describing? I don't think the general situation is cut and dried. In her specific case, she's a "celebrity" former-child among pedos, and men have stalked her, found her address, threatened to visit her, etc. So I think there's a decent chance the guy will be found liable for some kind of damages, because there's more than just possessing photos going on.
