ORIGINAL: Spiritedsub2 -fr This new policy is enforced very selectively, to put it generously. Look at avatars on the forum that are not photos of the posters (maybe 50%). Notice that they clearly weren't taken or created by the poster, yet they have not been pulled. An approval process would mean that every new member would have to be looked at by a volunteer to approve, or general crack down would mean that the volunteers would have to go through every profile to look at photos, which isn't feasible. So, no, it's not enforced selectively. It's enforced when the photos are reported. Also, keep in mind that the avatars on this side are not necessarily the photos in a persons profile. They can be selected separately. If the policy is enforced only when a photo is reported, that IS selective enforcement. The policy gives people a tool to use to fuck with someone, and still allows dozens or hundreds of "stolen" images to be used as avatars. And the only such avatars I'm speaking of are the same on this side as the profile side. If the site owners didn't want to enforce this selectively, and don't have time to enforce it against everyone, then they should stop enforcing it at all.
