One dead, six injured, shooter in custody... and yes an assault weapon was used.

quote:

LOS ANGELES — A lone gunman armed with a semi-automatic rifle went on a shooting spree Friday at Los Angeles International Airport, killing one person and leaving at least six people injured before the suspect was tracked down and taken into custody. The 23-year-old gunman was shot in the face, authorities said.

There are a lot of crazy people in this world without medication. They are getting tired of the BS. I support the dude dying or people like him getting shot. But, the more the government demands absolute control over everyone. The less sane of us are going to put us all in danger.

The TSA agent said, "I caught a terrorist - NEVER"
The TSA agent said, "I made 10 children cry today"
The TSA agent said, "I felt me some titties"
The TSA agent said, "I stole some Ipods".

Abolish TSA = win win..... Even if the psychos did not walk amongst us. TSA is demonstrably racist/abusive, unaffordable and not necessary.

Really??? A fully automatic weapon was used?

Or was it just an ordinary semi-automatic rifle dressed up to look like a military weapon?

You'll find a way to blame Bush.

Look I am pro gun, I am using the term that most "anti gun" people use incorrectly, and the term used by the news media.

My personal opinion is that most anti gun people and liberal senators from California wouldn't know an assault weapon if someone walked up and hit em in the ass with one.

Of course, thanks to Fienstien the legal term for a semi automatic weapon in a military frame is "assault weapon."

We have two choices, eliminate the TSA, the all or nothing choice, or,

Have some individual or committee talk to the security agencies in other countries and come up with a standard set of screening procedures that do not violate a persons right to privacy or feel like they are being groped by a pervert.

Scrap it and start over with new leadership.
With the threats against TSA there and a (non lethal) bomb attack TSA must have been screwing up.
Don't get me wrong I am not in any way excusing this attack.

The TSA is 'scrap it and start all over again with new leadership'.

Prior to 9/11, much of the world's airport security was handled by one private security company, many of their employees were hired directly into the TSA.
