Owner59 -> Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 9:27:37 AM)

With the federal government nearing shutdown, House Speaker John Boehner stood on the House floor Monday and called on his colleagues to vote for a bill banning a “so-called exemption” that lawmakers and staffers receive for their health insurance

Yet he`s making(trying to) secret deals for his he and his staff to get health care subsidies...

Now we seasoned observers know J-boner is a lying sack of shit and aren`t particularly fazed by this revelation....

But the tea-jadies aren`t going to like it much and it could spell Boehner`s end as speaker.

http://www.mediaite.com/online/defundthegop-glenn-beck-goes-off-on-lying-thief-boehner-worthless-republicans/

From one of the teajadist leader`s comments:

"Glenn Beck has never been a fan of Republican leadership, but on Wednesday he lost what little respect he had left for John Boehner after leaked e-mails showed Boehner quietly tried to keep Congress’ Obamacare exemption while publicly fighting against it.

Beck took this story as evidence that the Republican leadership is spewing “nothing but lies,” asking the GOP, “Are you as dumb as the Democrats have been?”

He called Boehner a “lying thief” who needs to resign from office, and believed it would happen if enough big Republican donors said they are not giving another dime to the GOP until Boehner leaves. Beck declared, “If you can’t get that man on this evidence to resign, you’re worthless! Worthless!”

He promoted the hashtag #DefundTheGOP to get conservatives to stop giving money to Republicans so long as people like Boehner, who are privately betraying the conservative cause, keep calling the shots."

Gee. Glenn Beck is calling out a Republican? Hardly newsworthy.

Phydeaux -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 9:39:25 AM)

LOL.. what is funny is the poster's misconceptions that this would budge the needle. At. All.

mnottertail -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 9:41:30 AM)

Yeah, shoot the messenger when proof of lying, fiscally irresponsible, pork barrel, borrow and spend teabaggers is brought to light.

Hasn`t hit the news yet.

And you`re correct that to a wonk like myself, it`s not new news.

But the lunatic fringe.....the ones driving the extortion plot/closing down the gov. over the ACA,do still drink the cool-aid and will freak out.

Wanna bet?

This is such silly analysis as to be laughable.

Do you think they hate Boehner more than Obama?
Do you think they hate Boehner more than they hate obamacare?
Really?

So while there will be sound and fury over boehner - and fine kabuki theatre
every single one of the teaparties are very busy writing congressmen and telling them not to fold.

Count on it.

mnottertail -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 10:00:12 AM)

Yeah, we really think that given the popularity of house teabaggers (which in its heyday was never over 32 percent anyhow).

Owner59 -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 10:23:58 AM)

Do you think they hate Boehner more than Obama?

Doesn`t matter.

The teahadist don`t get to vote for President Obama.

They do though, get to vote on who is speaker.

And leader Beck wants to draw and quarter j-boner....

Do you really think the lunatic fringe`s irrational hate/fear for the President is going to dissuade their disgust and anger for the speaker?[:D]

That`s not how irrational folks operate. These kooks believe their own dogma.

Nosathro -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 1:11:55 PM)

And this is not going to make the Tea Party happy either

the accuracy of that democratic mouthpiece has already been contested. Nice try tho.
But all that is besides the point. You guys are reading way to much into what republicans are saying.

More or less they're saying - don't blame me - don't pull your funding - the tea party made us do it.
When all is said and done it doesn't matter what they say, it matters what they do.

Certainly the republicans might be stupid and cave. Personally I'm hoping they dont.

Finally, do you really think that article is targeting the tea partiers? If you do you're delusional. If the DNC wanted to target the tea partiers, they'd take out ads on glen becks tv show.

That article is squarely aimed at you democrats, to gin you up, get your riled and passionate and get you not to think about how the standoff should be resolved. Rather, it is to make you think how ridiculous the other side is - and if we only hold pat the other side will fold.

C'mon. Try to think deeper than a coat of paint.

mnottertail -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 1:18:59 PM)

Well, they have demonstrated nothing but pure slobbering ignorance to date, but the myrmidons are in religious writhings mostly, so the miracle could occur, but that of course is insipid asswipe.

Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR) has voted for the shut down as well as other Republicans. The report is accurate and Rep. Walden is not a mouthpiece. The truth does hurt [sm=biggrin.gif]

I wasn't saying Walden was a mouthpiece. (Duh).
And you are welcome to keep posting in this vein as much as you like. You're spinning your wheels. I welcome that you continue.

mnottertail -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 1:51:36 PM)

Nevertheless; it seems to me that somebody better get down there and coordinate policy, or it may appear that the Grand Old Party is floundering.

Owner59 -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 5:54:23 PM)

Well, what`s at question in my OP?

We know boner did what I said he did.

And the lunatic fringe is reacting to it.....

Pretty simple really.......even for delusional republicans.

DarkSteven -> RE: Lunitic fringe isn`t going to like this.... (10/3/2013 6:01:25 PM)

I'm not trusting Beck as a reliable news source.

That said, whoever leaked this is intent on completely going scorched earth. The Tea Party is already trying to control the entire legislative branch from a minority position, and to make the President cave. If they get Boehner thinking that he's got nothing to lose, he'll put the CR up for vote.

The Tea Party is looking more like bomb throwers every day.

The story comes from Politico.

Is that surprising? Boehner is weak (always has been), I wish both him and Juan McCain would retire already. Lol
