Hello everyone,

Nice to be here. I once was very active on a Christian BDSM message board and miss those days. Perhaps after a bit of lurking I can become friends with those that "live and play" here.

I call myself a submissive, but to be honest I'm not sure if i am a submissive, slave or just a vanilla girl that hasn't been with a man for a long time. I have the desire to find out, mixed in with a healthy dose of fear and hesitancy. So you may want to categorize me in your mind as a wannabe with the best of intentions. (grin)

I write and type much better than I converse in real life. It must be the geek in me, so in real life I come across so much differently that perhaps that is a contributing factor to my continued singleness.

Now for the basic introduction stuff...I live in Indiana in the USA. I am a red state sort of woman but i can peek inside the blue region without getting angry and stomping off. I approach the "lifestyle" of bdsm more from the male Dom/ woman sub point of view not so much from the love of pain and danger point of view. As we know there are many differernt "flavors" of D/s and BDSM...i think i'm a good vanilla/chocolate/strawberry swirl. (grin). But the ice cream still hasn't been tasted so who knows if i'll think it tastes good...it sure does look pretty though doesn't it. (self depreciating grin)

Now to move away from the ice cream analogy....

I live in Indiana, i am a single mother of one child, never married. I work full time and live the usual busy but basically boring life that many singles live when they also care for children.

I love strong coffee with rich cream and sugar, Christmas lights on a beautiful tree or a neighborhood filled with lights after dark in December, a beautiful sunset or a pink sunrise, camping, drinking margaritas with no salt on the rocks with a big straw (occassionally). I love God and my country but i'm not a marine. I love my son and the 4th of July and hotdogs on the grill. I'm allergic to cats and dogs but think kittens and puppies are so cute i like to cuddle them anyway. I am 40 years young and have a great sense of humor.

I'm interested in learning more about the D/s side of BDSM and if there is a place in it for me.
