CatBBW -> Hello from a UK SSBBW! (9/24/2013 9:43:53 AM)

I LOOOVE that waving smiley [:D]

Been a member for a few days now, and after 100s of messages I received my first vaguely abusive one - something about me being a buffalo and a freak[8|] Whenever I join a new site and receive my first insult/troll by PM I know that I have truly arrived somewhere [8D] hehe!

So HELLO ALL! I keep changing my profile text as although I'm a pro-domme/findomme, that's not ALL that I'm about, it's just finding the right balance between the 2 that I'm struggling with.

I'm not a lifestyle domme, but I do think about sex, domination, D/s, M/s etc etc pretty much 24/7, certainly makes trips to the supermarket more interesting[:D] Currently trying to build up my toybox as I've been relying on household objects for too long.

So...hiya [sm=wave.gif]

It's bound to happen, the cowardly déclassé types who leave rude, nasty messages. At first it was the ones who couldn't take no for an answer--subs, switches, Doms alike. Now every so often I get an out-of-the-blue rant from some dude who doesn't like what criteria I specified in my profile because he thinks it's unfair to be pre-excluded. Like WTF? Most of these guys don't even bother to read a Domme's profile; they could really care less what it is we are seeking.

If you've noticed the message hover feature, you can Delete Unread an objectionable message that really doesn't deserve a response. This tends to have the effect of a slap in the face. I didn't start doing this until about a month ago, and it's had 100% success rate. If someone is truly offensive or bothersome, then you'll have to open their message to block the sender (or access their profile via other mechanisms). You can use your discretion whether to report the message first before blocking. I've only had to do this half a dozen times. Well, actually 2-3 times I should have reported the harassing messages instead of Deleting Unread, because the senders were so vile. (One was a "sub" who showed his true colors by calling me a c*nt, 2 were psycho misogynistic "Doms".)

Most of your senders are attention-seekers, so good for you to take things in stride. Best of luck.

Or...am I? Just been reading a few posts, and it seems that I could call myself this...

Ah heck, just a label, isn't it [:)]

Thanks TigressLily :) I've had YEARS of experience on forums, so attention seekers are par for the course. Happy to say I know where my Delete button is [:D]

I LOVE the hover over message feature, but in this instance I wanted to block and hide everything, so had to wade on in. Which is fine, because it's still an "ignore". I did read the profile before though, and had to LOL that he spoke about how much of a respectful gentleman he is...I guess that's only afforded to the people HE finds acceptable.

I've received all sorts of messages, from people who want to date me (erm...does this LOOK like match.com?) through to people who want to eat my toilet waste. The ones that I bother to reply to, to point at my profile, come back with a whiiiiiiiiiine "but I don't WAAANNAAA, I just thought you would let me worship your pussy and use me as a sex slaaaaaaave, waaaaah". [8|]

Generally I've found the ladies are better at reading - which is good, because I am seeking female play partners and if they can read what I'm looking for, then I might get lucky ;)

Thanks for the welcome! :)

Bazinga and thank you for not giving sway to Hollywood "starve thyself" paradigms, and instead, choosing to remain a paragon...

of feminity. [:)]

Hi Cat!

Welcome to CM, yes you're right, I think we've all received 'message abuse' at some stage or other [:)].

I hope you're building up your toy box & you will find what you're searching for.

Best wishes, Gary.

Welcome Cat, house hold items, know what you mean, a local company produces a "Fly Swat" I find it to be quite a fun item!
