Reminds me of Randy Bachmans rammed earth house on Saltspring Island... I love the colors of the layers of earth in his house.. Here is a vid David Suzuki did on it and how a rammed earth house is built, how strong it is..

fascinating...
but i have to say, all the imitations (the mural, the "grass"-carpet) creep me the hell out.
im also a little freaked out that somebody would think, in case of a nuclear war, theyd just more or less continue living the way they always have. like, "ill just take my current life and relocate it underground." thats just creepy.
