Status: offline 		The trial is over and the guy got a new job. So he will finish with the defamation lawsuit against NBC and that will be it. He is a criminal lawyer so why would he have anything to do with the divorce? As to whether or not he gets paid, I would say that is the chance you take when you go into a field that relies on criminals to get paid.

Status: offline 		Apparently part of the money George collected for his "Defense Fund" went to paying for personal bodyguards. Did he hire them to protect himself from the pro-gun types who donated to his "Defense Fund" and then found out he spent all $130,000.00 on himself and didn't even pay his defense attorney?

Status: offline 		O'Mara is not representing George in his divorce case or this recent domestic violence case. He is very much still his attorney in the money cases. NBC, and recouping fee's from the state. Of course he would still be on those cases. Money is involved and he was the attorney when the cases were brought forth. Mediate's headline is hugely misleading.

I am sure he will get his money eventually.. even if by chance he is still shorted, Zimmy's case has made his name almost a household word, few lawyers get that kind publicity.. and of course its landed him this TV gig.. He has done pretty good out of it, imo..

One article said O'Mara wasn't getting involved in this domestic thingie cuz they are both "like family".. so he cant be on either side.. that is just so touching, isn't it?

There will be no NBC settlement(that`s a rightie whacko fantasy).....

And what`s his case for suing the state?.......He did kill the kid, after all.(more rightie/NRA nutter dream`n)

One would need an obvious case of miscarriage of justice to sue the state.....I don`t think being acquitted of a crime = MOJ.

There`s no doubt that O`mara is cutting George off completely or of why.

The notion that it`s because he`s a CD lawyer and is done is just more sycophantic self dilution pabulum. O`Mara is part of a practice that covers more that just criminal defense......yes, they do divorces.

George(while free) will be a future fountain of billable hours for any lawyer willing to have him....

THAT....is the very reason for O`Mara divorcing the killer.....not the lack of criminal defense work but quite the opposite.

He see`s the future and doesn`t want to be linked to George`s future arrests/defenses.

Only an idiot would take on this bully after the recent assault , regardless of there being no charges pressed over it.I mean there`s zero doubt George committed the assault on the father in law.

O`Mara also took issue with George`s PR stunt of touring the gun factory where the gun he used to kill Martin was made.

The creepy cracker has almost as much bad sense as his fans do....

Personally, I never viewed the killing or aftermath as political.....I just saw a killer who got away with it....like OJ.

One of the primary weaknesses/flaws righties need to be righties is to shut down the conversation when they feel threatened(never mind a winning argument)...The other is to latch on to bull-shit and argue it as fact...

Yes ,the President spoke about the loss of a son.....a tragedy....nothing more. That`s his job.He didn`t make it political.....That`s fox-poop.

And no, the feds had nothing to do with poor put upon George`s charges....That was one of the fox-poop-bits cons swallow.

George made all his troubles all on his own.

Those are great example tho, of how rightists blame everyone/thing else for the trouble/damage they cause. Thanks much.`


It was hot and fast and felt good at the time but that nasty rash George left is getting worse.....Enjoy, righties/Zimmerman fans/gunnuters....

Rightists? Is that the new buzz word. I guess it's better than some you have used in the past although you might want to stick to issues that actually fall into the left right bullshit fest you seem to love so much. Zimmy's lawyer got the fame he wanted from the trial and now doesn't need him. He will find new scum to defend and zimmy will get new lawyers.
