Why do the Israelis think Jewish settlements are legal and Israeli Bedouin ones not ?

Status: offline 		One very effective way of ethnic cleansing is to deny water or water storage facilities to the Palestinian residents of the West Bank:

"Military Order 92, issued on 15 August 1967, granted complete authority over all water related issues in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) to the Israeli army.
Military Order 158, of 19 November 1967, stipulates that Palestinians cannot construct any new water installations without first obtaining a permit from the Israeli army and that any water installation or resource built without a permit will be confiscated.
Military Order 291, of 19 December 1968, annulled all land and water-related arrangements which existed prior to Israel’s occupation of the West Bank. 3,5
These and other Israeli Military Orders remain in force today in the OPT (Occupied Palestinian Territories) and apply only to Palestinians. They do NOT apply to Israeli settlers in the OPT, who are subject to Israeli civilian law.
Amnesty International has documented many cases of the Israeli Army using closed military zones to limit access to water for Palestinians and as a collective punishment by turning off access to water in local populations."

Of the water available from West Bank aquifers, 73% is shipped to the State of Israel. Within the borders of the West bank 300,000 illegal Jewish settlers use 10% while 2.5 million Palestine’s have access to only 17% of their own water.

Just about every day, the IDF demolishes (ie blows up) water pipes and storage facilities feeding Palestinian villages, homes and agriculture. Palestinians are forced to rely on Israeli water supplies ie their own water stolen by the Israelis and then sold back to the Palestinians at c3 times the price the Israeli colonists/settlers pay.

This is at best a partial explanation. It allows us to understand where people such as Christian Zionists (if that's not too much of a contradiction in terms) are coming from. How unusual! Usually the ever dwindling number of CM Zionists and their allies are so quick and aggressive to defend Israel against any criticism, no matter how far fetched (and often absurd) those defences may be. Yet not a single attempt to refute the allegation of ethnic cleansing. Their silence is deafening.

Does this mean that our resident Zionists have finally seen the light? That they now accept the overwhelming evidence that Israel is ethnically cleansing the West Bank of its indigenous Palestinian population of c3 million? That they finally accept that Israel is engaged in a monstrous racist-to-its-core project to steal the West Bank and to deny Palestinians their right to a nation of their own?

While it would wonderful to hear that CM's few remaining Zionists have finally admitted that Israel's ethnic cleansing is indefensible, somehow I don 't think so ......

One thing I do know........ If this was taking place anywhere but Israel the West would be taking a harder line on the issue.
