I honestly dont think any of you understands the abstract concepts the op is trying to put forth. I had to pull out my physics, chemistry, alchemy books and Merlin's Encyclopedia of Arcane Arts to even get an inkling of what he is trying to describe.

I threw it just right, the coaster curved around John, the bartender, and hit Matt on the nose by surprise.

He was duly impressed.
