This story has apparently been validated, but remains strictly in the blogosphere.

The question was is the tactic of attempting to make someone who has espoused no racist views appear to be a racist (a common meme throughout the Zimmerman case) in service to the concept of justice?

If so, is it justifiable to the point of violence?

The question still remains in the aftermath of the trial... Is it 'justice' to fake a story no matter what the source, and no matter what the 'side', if there is a good chance it will provoke further anger, perhaps even violence?

No, it is nothing at all like that. How would yelling racial pejoratives at a NAACP meeting be in any way similar to mocking a group of people who don't have the guts to admit their true motivations? How is committing an obviously racist act similar to pointing out racism?

I would go with her explanation. Seems to fit. Maybe instead of demanding answers from people here, you should get into your lil go go mobile and go ask her.

Gateway Pundit concludes she was a "leftist plant" who intended to trick or otherwise deceive the media. As the interview reveals, however, she was quite honest and open about her intentions and what her sign meant. She also located herself quite clearly on the Trayvon Martin/New Black Panther Party-supporting side of the demonstration (this video shows the two sides were clearly separated and distinguished from each other).
