I know if I saw a suspicious character lurking in our neighborhood, I would call the police, I certainly wouldn't pursue them like I was cat woman. If I was silly enough to do that, and the person decided to attack me, was beating the heck out of me, being fearful and adrenaline pumping, and I had a gun in my hand??? Well I would probably shot them especially if crime was at a all time high in the area to begin with, because you have that heightened fear to begin with. I don't know the hearts of the people involved, but I don't think when the gun went off it was about race. If the guy had been white, I think he would have been shot too.

Speaking just for myself, I am not so quick to think any future unmoderated threads will be so "civilized" tho.. and its not like some people are civilized on moderated threads, just they are a lot sneekier about how they post nastiness.. As I have a couple of posters on ignore and cant see their postings.. and although that means few posts are visible.. that too makes this thread quite palatable really.. [:D]
