Just wanted to say hello to you all from Sunny Suffolk :)

As per my profile ive been interested in bondage and power play since I first read The Gor series by John Norman. I do like the to play the dominate role and focus all my attention on making a woman feel a heightened sexual experience with bondage and nipple toys etc. but i am also realising that i also enjoy playing the submissive and still giving the woman the same level of experience.

What I don't want people reading this to think however is that my sexual preferences are it... I am much more than this and love just doing the normal stuff as well like walking along the beach or chilling out with a bottle of wine and a DVD or meeting friends for a night out. I love to have fun and I love to just sit a talk sometimes.

Anyway thats enough for now.

Greetings and welcome to Cm and the forums. You have come to the right place to learn more about the lifestyle as there is a real good group of folks on this side with a vast knowledge about it all. Don't be afraid to ask questions, though sometimes newbies may need a thick skin here. Some of the people are really kewl and others not so much, but please take each advice given and no matter how it comes across knowing they are sharing their knowledge with you for free.

A couple of things that might help you....

-Have questions... they may have already been answered. Use the 'Search' function (upper right), and go through some of the older threads you might find an answer there.

-Check out ResidentSadist book list, its a great list and can help you get info on WIITWD.

- You may get flamed for say you like to PLAY THE ROLES, most do not consider who they are as playing a role, they are that personality.....they are who they are.

Hope to see you stick around and become part of the poster here and that you enjoy your time here well doing so. Always nice to have a new face among us.

Thanks for the welcome :)

Misty apologises if I am using the wrong teminology I.e. "play the roles".

Talking about my sexuality and preferences to a like minded group of people for the first time is actually quite liberating!

I've always felt different and that maybe it was wrong, as it was not "the social norm"...I guess you generally just don't meet people who think like you because you just don't discuss it. Even though 50 shades is tame maybe its opened the door and understanding to a larger group of people?

Over the years I've understood why endorphins rushing round your body because you are in fight or flight mode or are experiencing pain whislt experiencing pleasure can intensify the feeling and its not that bad afterall.

No apologize needed, just was giving you a heads up 50 Shades is also perceived as pure fantasy here by most. I truly hope you stick around and get to chat with some of the peeps on this side as there is truly a group of amazing people here that have a vast knowledge about WIITWD. Though I have been in the lifestyle for awhile I am always learning more from being on the forums.

My best to you and hope you have fun well here.

Kar
