Oh, there will always be sharks. I'm saying it upfront because you're better off knowing. Things you know, you can anticipate and cope with. You'll have to find your own way of dealing with them, but, meh, one thing at a time. The simple truth is, you don't have to be on a site like this to find all manners of folk who are friendly, mean, aggressive, supportive, happy or frustrated. Those are all little bits of life affecting everyone from time to time. Consider how you deal with confrontation at work, on the street, etcetera. If you find you have impaired coping skills, find help. There are people who can assist you in learning and practicing the skills you need. Nobody's perfect. I was raised in a household where if you didn't succeed, you were just a failure. What I took out of that was a philosophy I practice to this day: that if all things eventually fall apart or fade (and they do), then success is fleeting; but the trials, struggles and effort made regardless of the outcome is enduring because you will always have that.
