Wouldn't prosecuting people, so they can be put in prison, require an investigation, and a prosecutor, Jeff?

Perhaps I'm just unaware of the issues with this "special investigator" thing. The last time I remember seeing that used I thought it was a colossal waste of time and taxpayer money. I certainly want this investigated and from what I've read that I can verify through trustworthy sources there's a few folks that really ought to be in jail. I'm none too impressed with lying to congress. But I would adamantly oppose any push into the white house without some substantive evidence.

OK, I'll take one link from any site that is reputable (eg: reasonably impartial... politifact, factcheck, maybe a few others, or direct video evidence of a hearing or some such. Look, I've been pretty vocal about saying I'd impeach and incarcerate Obama in a heartbeat if I could. I'm just not seeing the connection here.

No, Lucy. I don't need anything to show up in my email, to keep flinging Nixon in their faces at every opportunity.

You've heard of him, right?

You mean you have NOT made two or more posts bringing up a"special prosecutor"???
Or is your snark regarding my daily "news sourcing " supply guess, supposed to be clever?
Fail on both accounts, as for nixon, nope never heard of him,[8|] Ive heard of a dixon , many many years ago, but he was a cop.
Evenin all

Certainly more than two, Lucy. I even started a poll on the question before Quinnipac ever got started with theirs.

Plenty of Democrats already get that this is a serious trust in government issue, and that to achieve their sociopolitical agenda, people have to believe in the government that is coming to help them. Some kind of independent investigator is the best way to get a result that will restore that confidence. I saw somebody being quoted, saying that the President was going to just fix it all by executive order. Sure thing.

There is no way we get a satisfactory accounting of the events in a partisan climate like we have. It may be a long, nasty summer, but I believe an independent investigator, or a special prosecutor, or a blue ribbon commission, is where this inevitably leads.

Hold the presses!!! A new scandal, even more scandalous than the UmbrellaGate scandal, has come along just in time to overshadow the current scandal of scandals...

Some of President Barack Obama's political appointees are using secret government email accounts to conduct official business

Why does the media waste any time on riots in Turkey or bombings in Boston, or warning about SARS, when the very fabric of our country is torn asunder by the fact that government officials have *refused* put every last detail about our military operations and nuclear launch codes on the agency websites, as transparency demands that they should?

Won't somebody do something????
