We have had days over 100 followed by days in the sixties... What I want to know is, has someone put the fucking government in charge of the weather and they are running it by committee?

All my plants that usually bloom in January and February bloomed a couple months late this year....So that was weird....We had neither too hot or too cold weather just no rain but I water these plants as they are in pots....hmmmm

As I'm looking out the window, the sun is a deep orange, behind the smoke from a wildfire. Normally, we don't get that until much later in the season.

Heretic, that proves it, a congressional committee is in control of the weather.

Well, then they are going to be getting some nasty notes from another government committee, about how badly the dust storms are fucking up the surfaces of the solar panels.

So most of us agree, the heat sucks!

Well, something wonderful came out of the heat. My son came over and decided I needed an A/C unit downstairs, so he gave me one of his! It is nice and comfy in my house now.

But it is still hot here.

The lilacs came in bloom nearly a month ago, and while I don't condone theft, I look forward to someone stealing me some each year, lol. I don't even have a yard to grow my own.

Congrats on the plan to receive a new AC. It sure sounds like you need it.

Do you want Me to tell you how beautiful it was here today. <Insert wicked evil giggle here.>

Not a plan, it is already done! First time my son has said he will do something and then has done it right away. Wish I could get him to do that with the litter box, lol.

And sure, but only if you include pictures.

Very cool for you on the AC.

I can't fulfill My part of the bargain. I wish I would have taken one particular shot today. Lower mountains all in green and the higher elevation mountains that you could see in the background still with snow. Just gorgeous.

We just leave out that sun stuff here and stick since some odd weeks to the rain season

By now we have flood warnings in some areas here, hope that shit stops rather sooner than later as I prefer my furniture in my garage and my cellar to stay dry

cause the river here aint far away with about 100-150 meters...
