since weve had a crappy winter and weve all been busy indoors.Do you think most people are less intersted in kink..ie doing other things outside now ?

No. I think most people know how to have balance in their life, being able to enjoy the vanilla world, ie. a beautiful spring day, and kink.

i have to agree , i guess in winter its more indoors but in good weather munches etc are more popular

I think a lot has to do with the weather and the holidays being bunched together. And there's another observation that I made when I was more active in the scene: leathers are really uncomfortable in August, at least the kind I wore. Granted, my riding leathers had to pull double duty, but there it is.

As to the OP, I've in Florida and the weather is rather nice all the time, but I can relate to cabin fever. However, I think kink follows you everywhere. Nice weather? Tie the bitch to a tree outside! Aside from the OP, I am pretty sure the weather effects attendance at Woodstocks and other outdoor BDSM events.

We live in Alaska and because of that, we have some weird attendance trends. I have to give it to these folks up here. They travel to events in the worst kind of conditions and think nothing of it. We don't have as many community dungeons in the summer. Plenty of folks will attend in the winter. We're a month away from the Alaska Kinky Camp Out. Best event in the entire state. A mix of retreat and education. Great opportunity for those outdoor scenes, if you can handle the mosquitoes.

Nope, love my kink all year round, though find it harder to process pain nicely when I'm cold... Outdoors can be just as much fun as indoors - snowballs, trees, tall spiky grass, and of course if you go camping bring extra tent pegs and rope ;)

Kink is kink...for me, the weather has nothing to do with it.. However, when in Chicago last week and the weather got warm for 2 days, first night 6 murders...second night...9. The kinky people must have had a bad winter up there...

im still in a mixed opinion about it...in winter we do seem to play a lot indoors , less so in summer.but i gues maybe we just do it a different way in summer.

I spent part of the winter in Phoenix, camping with my girl. Maybe it's the fact that I'm Canuckian, but the cold didn't hamper my ability to grab her hair just so.

Find a local group/munch/society. The one in my area has a hard core of outdoors enthusiasts who just advertised a series of 'nature walks' nudgenudgewinkwinksaynomore. That would be your best bet.
