There does seem to be this pattern with the GOP. I would not be surprised if anything outside the missionary position he would also consider deviant.

Well, I suppose there might be a loophole in this depending on how one defines "producing people." I suppose a couple (or more) could have sex in any way they wish, just as long as they "produce people," which could be as easy as making a human figure out of Play-Doh or even draw stick figures on a piece of paper.

Did he actually say "deviate" in that context or did the reporter mishear it and write it wrong in the story?

I suppose sex can deviate a person from one's schedule, but I don't often hear "deviate" used in that context.

Oy Gevalt, seriously? I could understand him saying deviant, and if he really is a religious individual, I could see where he is coming from but this style of thinking seriously needs to be retired. If the GOP could get on board with gay rights and marriage, legalizing marijuana, and a path towards citizenship for illegal aliens, go pro-choice or at least keep their mouths shut and stop trying to legislate against abortion, they'd be so much stronger than they are now. Oh well if things go to pot, I'll at least be able to say I tried. Oh and I'm Republican who is completely for gay marriage and rights (also think orientation should be protected along with race, creed, and national origin), legalizing all drugs (let the weak lemmings kill themselves off), allow illegal aliens to buy citizenship so long as they don't violate the law on a felony level or violent misdemeanor for seven years, completely for abortion rights.

He said it. The video shows him doing so.

What else have we come to expect from the party that made men's room stalls famous?

Yeah before I switched from Democrat to Republican, it was the Republican party that taught me if someone has something negative to say about homosexual sex, there's a good chance they are engaging in homosexual sex. I think I got at least three right after I came to that belief, two religious leaders (that were anti-gay), and one politician. Granted I still bust on homophobes and love Ron White's joke about it. I'm just too straight to have a six pack.

did you bother to read the comments below the article?

Every other phrase is RINO, RINO, Not a conservative, RINO, Liberal writer.

That's the problem with the Republican party the last couple of decades. They have an attitude of "My way or the highway" and all the moderates basically said "fuck you, I'm outa here?

The same is not seen on the DNC?

The partisanship is this country is reaching a fevered pitch......

About the article:

The only piece I really disagree with is idea 1. It would weaken state power further and help consolidate federal authority further. I like that it distinguishes between state taxes more, but it would mean the feds have more control. I don't think that is a good trade.

When was the last time you saw a Democrat thrown out of the party for not being Weal and Twue?

When was the last time you saw an indepedent attacked personally by the DNC?

When was the last time a Dem news 'personality' said they wished a relative of a presidential candidate were killed or threatened?

Thanks. I didn't look at the video earlier. I guess the guy is just not very literate. Whether he was trying to say "deviate" or "deviant," he was still mispronouncing it.

Uh oh.

Guess I'm going to hell for being "deviate".
