I just joined a couple months ago.. Just wanted to gain some exposure here on the msg boards. Has this site actually worked for anyone? I have found alot of fakes so far...

This site works for a lot of people. Remember that not everyone is looking for the same thing :) Some people are only looking for a bit of fun online and others are looking for a real time, long term relationship. What's fake to you is totally legit to someone else. Keep a good attitude and be patient.

Hello and welcome to Collarme and the forums. The site worked for me, I meet Brad on here 6 1/2 years ago and we would have still been together if he had not passed away in May. I've met quite a few people from CM. Some that I met 8 years ago are still great friends. In fact I just chatted on the phone with a couple of those friends earlier tonight. In July it will be 8 years since Gary and I met. We have been 24/7 for over 7 years. You have been here less than 2 months. Have some patience. It took way longer than that for me to find Gary.

I met the man who became [my] Master here over 4 years ago. He initiated contact. In the initial cmail He sent me He asked very interesting questions and I answered them. Then He responded with more very interesting questions. If you have a lazy profile or a lazy approach, then you will be passed by over someone who seems interesting. You have to show some imagination, creativity and a compelling reason why you out of all the other seeking male submissives/slaves would be worth her time. You can't just dangle an empty hook and say "Here, Mistress, Mistress"... expecting one will jump into your lap. What do you have to offer?... If you went to a party, sat in the corner facing the wall, would you expect to walk out with a date for the following night? Or would you expect that you had to talk to people, show them your good qualities, for them to decide you're a good person to know? Same here. Plus your screen name makes it seem as though you want money. Many people wouldn't even open an email from you based on that.

I met my first serious Dom here, am now "dating" another one (I put that in quotes because we became friends awhile ago, decided to meet in person, went another couple months of emailing but not getting together, then started getting together for drinks after work and FINALLY we may be ready to show our "bits" to each other). I have also had many "meet, greet, no chemistry" dates. I actually stopped counting the people that I've met that have profiles (or had, past tense in some cases) on this site when I hit two hundred. Op, Like many other people here.. I've had my share of good experiences, but some bad ones as well. When I was here 6 years ago... I was young and totally enamored... looking for any and all experiences... during that time I met and experienced a lot of people and activities. [:D] Then I've forged some successful (and not so successful) relationships. I met my current Mister here, and for him... I'm glad I waited. It's a waiting game... so you're either in or out. It's up to you to remain positive or give in and be negative. If you choose the latter... I can almost guarantee your success will be limited. Allie

Because if you go to Amazon.com, you can do a quick search, find the desired item and read its description, click a few times, and it's yours. Here, you can go to the site, do a quick search, read women's descriptions, click on their profile, and send a quick message. But then the fulfillment system doesn't work instantly like Amazon's. Also, if your understanding of the lifestyle is fro porn clips, then you expect that kinky women are all horny sluts who'll drop their panties for any man.

QFT! Even though sub females are apparently in short supply round here, it still takes time (around 8 years for me too) to find the RIGHT person. I could have had ANY person within days of joining, but thankfully I have a little more self-respect and a lot more sense than that.

It will soon come, I guess there is just as much 'fakedom' on here as in any other walk of life, I've had some very interesting 'message chats' with other CM members. I'm taking what comes, & just enjoying this great site. There have been some very encouraging success stories, perhaps we'll be the next ones [:)]. Enjoy yourself, & don't overdo your expectations.

I joined maybe two months ago(?), and did meet one person here, albeit by a roundabout way, about two weeks after. Nice lady, friendly, but there was no chemistry because we weren't really looking for new partners. Went to a munch with her early last month and had a great time. The weird thing is, I wasn't even looking to make a hookup, it just sort of happened. I stay on here for the discussions and the fact that I learn at least one new thing about the scene each day. Fakes? It's the Internet, nothing you can do about it. I actually have a ball with the fakers sending to me, but I'm twisted that way.
