It's a waste of money hiring and training people and doing background check, drug test etc if they're only going to stick around for a month anyway. grace, in THIS economy they might be there for years, and it might be a good career move to help them get into a management position. If it were so easy to get a job in their field, I doubt they would take a job as a cashier just for a month. Fact is, we are going to have more and more college graduates, competing with a lot of non-college graduates for jobs that don't require a degree. {As midmich stated twice on this thread, and he works in HR.}
