Secondly, I will say once again that you watch way too many cop shows. You assume she is wearing high heels. About the only people who could pull off the footwork you describe with high heels are strippers. You also assume the guy will be nice and get on the ground on his back with his head flat on the ground.
Ever see someone hit really hard with pepper spray? I have. They typically do one of 2 things. They either curl up in a ball or they lash out HARD. Neither of the above is conducive to the "high heel thru the eye socket".
You really need to quit thinking up unbelievable script lines for bad cop shows and live more in the real world.[:D]

Heck, I only ever watch the F1 and the BBC news.

And yes, I have seen a high-heel in the eye. Wasn't pretty.

One of the other things the OP is not realizing is that there is a HUGE difference between street fighting and fighting in a dojo or training class. In the real world a victim does not have time to set up, time to mentally focus, time to prepare themselves for an attack. A victim does not have time to go into a martial arts kata, to prepare their stance, to do anything other then try to fight against the overwhelming fear and terror that an unexpected attack instills in them. That is why you see people with martial arts experience get their asses kicked all the time in a real world situation; simply because they are not prepared for it. So while I applaud your daughter going to karate class three times a week you and her both are being naive if you think that this is preparing her for a real world attack.
