If you're a switch, in that you both top and bottom, do you generally open multiple profiles, one for each?

I notice MANY duplicate profiles, so, that's why I ask. For example:
[mod edit to remove usernames]

These are all exactly the same profiles, even with typos and punctuation - so clearly it's allowed.

Given that it's allowed - do you open one for submissive and one for dominant?

Admittedly, I find that kind of funny.

However, it is against the TOS to post people's profile links on here, I'm pretty sure. So be prepared for the mods to remove them.

I have 2 profiles.  One is my submissive one.  The other is a couple's profile with Gary. 

Whether you have more than one account is your business.  No one will force you to make more than one account.  If you want to keep just one account that is just fine. 

However, don't come to the forums to list profiles you consider improper.  Use the Report Profile.  Most likely, as soon as a Mod sees this post, all those links you so carefully put in your post will disappear. 

If these kinds of profiles you just posted keep coming up in your search you need to figure out what you are doing that causes these sorts of profiles to appear.

The ones you've listed are all Dominants...but looks like the same person obviously, since the name is the same, but altered slightly.
If people are switches, they should be listing themselves as switches.

Nothing wrong with your search.  However, if you were seeking a local and got hits in both the USA and Asia then you'd have a problem.

OP- usually there is a tag for switch profiles. having separate profiles for "separate sides" of the personality might be a good idea... until someone takes it as a schizo type sitch. also... having separate profiles might trigger the " you're a fake" type replies.

I never did like the search criteria that is available.
For example, a top would need to search separately for "submissive" versus "slave" as you can't search for both at the same time (AFAIK).

OK, no big deal - but - for a bottom guy, who gets precious few people looking for him in the first place, to be only on half the Domme radars wouldn't be a good thing.
To that end, if you're in the bottom half, you'd need two separate email addys, and two accounts, both of which 'could' say exactly the same thing other than being tagged as SUBMISSIVE vs SLAVE.

I guess that's appropriate (dunno what the TOS say about that though).

Luckily, you 'can' use a bogus email address (they never check); but I don't know whether people actually get their CM mail through their stated email address?

Do they? Do any of you get your CM mail forwarded to your stated profile email address? (Can that even be done?) If so, then having two separate emails would be a PITA.

I'd be more concerned with those who think blacklisting is ok, rather than identify different facets of themselves.

I once thought of being both a Top and a Bottom, but then I realized I'd always be beside myself.

I had to decide whether to list myself as a slave or as a submissive - but I didn't know the difference as I think it's up to Her!

I used to be a switch and, no, I did not open two profiles. I had one profile and it said switch. As a matter of fact, it served me through both submissive and then switch.

When I became a Domme, I needed a different username so I deleted the other profile and opened a whole new one. I think a person looking at a profile deserves to know who a person really is, not just half of him/her.

That being said, I know of at least one person who has two profiles, but I'm not about the blow the whistle on her.

After organizing hundreds of profiles in my area and putting on HIDE about 95% of them, it sure would be a LOT of effort to do the same thing to a second profile!

Not really. Not if you're 'puter saavy.

1. Press the button to show all hidden users
2. Open all those in separate links (use our control key liberally and it won't take but a minute)
3. Then right click on any bookmark tab (in Firefox anyway) to bookmark all tabs.
4. There are lots of ways to save those bookmarks to a file (e.g., Firefox->Bookmarks->Show All Bookmarks->Import & Backup->Export Bookmarks to HTML->bookmarks.html)
5. There are lots of ways to munge that file so that it's just a link of collarme losers to hide (e.g., sed -ne 's|.*\<A HREF="\(http[^"]*\)".*|\1|p' bookmarks.html > bookmarks.txt)
6. If you're good at regular expressions, you can even munge that file to be the HIDE button itself - but I digress
7. Now open your SECOND profile, and simply load your munged file of profiles to HIDE - and you're almost done

The result is that you'll have two profiles, both with the many hundreds of hidden profiles gone from your sight, like God intended them to be.

I keep a separate profile for switch and for sub.
