Status: offline 		Doctors appt sucked today. My blood pressure is rising and depending how the lab work comes out I may have a baby this weekend. But for now I am in bed wide awake and bored.

Status: offline 		I had extremely high blood pressure with my first one and had to be induced early. I swear those doctor appointments caused it to rise.

Take it easy and rest while you can. Easier said than done, I know.

Status: offline 		I rested as much as possible and had some tests run over the weekend that came out ok, but today my BP was higher so an induction has been scheduled. I will be holding my little one soon.

Status: offline 		When I was pregnant with my daughter, the doctor put me on bedrest, or tried to -- by 2 year old son was racing down the hallway as he spoke !!

Seriously, rest and take care, and try not to stress about the induction.

they did this with me for my daughter... i was on bed rest for a month and a half though. stinks i know...

Oh that would be fun with a two year old. Mine is 8 now so it is not as hard as it could be. More boring really. I have an itch to clean everything but instead I have to deal with the torture of not being able to clean the house. But the hubs and even my daughter are really trying to pick up after themselves so it is not horrible.

Status: offline 		I know it is hard to resist nesting, but I did it the day before my induction. My BP was a bit high as well.

Just take it easy and see if some family members can lend a hand.

Status: offline 		I was just wondering yesterday if you'd had your baby yet since I hadn't noticed your username around much.

It sucks that you're having blood pressure problems. About the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy they made me go to the hospital every other day and have blood tests and whatever they call the machines that monitor movements, because of my blood pressure which was fluctuating. Every time they talked about induction and then changed their mind. Very annoying. In the end they scheduled an 'early' induction for when I was 'just' ten days overdue, but she came before then anyway.

On the plus side, at least with the early warning you can be organised! Best of luck for the big day, can't wait to hear that you're both home safely... in about six months when you finally get time to log on

Status: offline 		:) I have had a lot of doctors visits and I too have to go to the monitoring of fetal movements. I got a kindle for my birthday which is easier to use laying down then a laptop but still autocorrect gets annoying and I say forget it after trying to fix the same word 3 times.

I was not sure if I would have been sent to L&D yesterday so we made sure to have everything ready over the weekend. Well I kept getting told to go lay down and had to cringe everytime he did not do it like I would have. LOL I thought since induction was scheduled that I would not have to go in for monitoring today, but I still have to go. Oh well one last time.
