Jmac2873 -> New and looking to learn (3/1/2013 5:05:59 PM)

I came here to learn more about S&M, and get different perspectives, and learn more about how this applies to me. I believe I have dominant tendencies, and want to learn more about what it's like to be a dominant in a relationship, and how to be a good dominant. I'd especially love to talk to someone who is dominant to give me their perspectives, or a submissive to tell me their side.

Welcome to Collarme.  When you have questions just ask them.

Welcome!

I think you'll really enjoy this "side" (on a note unrelated to his post, could somebody who's been around a little longer tell me if we're on the dark side or the light side? Inquiring minds and all that). There's a lot of learning to be done just by reading, and anytime you have questions you should feel free to post them, and you'll get a wide variety of responses and viewpoints.

Welcome to the discussion side of CM.

There's lots of learning to be done, and this is a great place to start. Once you master the clunky search feature you can pull up topics to read. And when you're ready, feel free to start your own thread.

At some point you'll come across the nick Resident Sadist, and you will find a link to a great book list as part of his signature line.

Then work up to getting yourself to a real live munch, I'm sure WA has tons of groups, some that are geared to your age group.

You've come to the right place.
Welcome, M

Welcome! It's great that you want to learn more! I learned a lot right here on the forums, anything you are interested in has probably been discussed at some point and you can search for the topic, or start one of your own [:)]

Welcome to the forums.

If you look up a post by Resident Sadist, you will see a great book list in his signature line. I would also suggest looking to see if there is a Next Gen group near you and attending.

Good Luck!
